It’s a great little pool cleaner. The pros, is that it gets the pool cleaner than I ever had with my pool shark. I have a ladder that my pool shark would get hung up on even with the guards and this doesn’t get stuck there. It charges within two hours. It’s easy to clean the debris out. It scrubs the side of the pool. The cons, unlike my pool shark that was just on a timer. I have to always make sure I put it in and watch it and take it out. Sometimes it looks like it’s walking around aimlessly missing a leaf or two. I think once or twice it stayed on the return on the bottom of the pool longer almost as if it was getting sectioned there. But eventually it would come off and work on the sides. It runs for about 2 1/2 hours and charges in about two hours, sometimes I wish it would work a little bit longer because there’s occasionally a leaf or two that’s left behind. The other thing is the app has kind of been a pain and I haven’t figured out how to change it out of all cover mode. I think it would be more effective if it just went in a grid and I haven’t figured that out yet.

I've had this a few months. I charged it as soon as I got it. I placed it in my 26,000 gallon game pool and it started to clean my pool. Cleaning the basket was easy, getting the lid back on you need to be very precise to make the seal. The 1st 3 times it picked up well but in a random pattern...it never cleaned the whole bottom completely missing a whole section of my pool and then the battery would run out way too soon and I'd have to retrieve it at the bottom of the pool using my net because the hook was harder, it never returns to the place I put it in the pool (shallow end). I tried placing it in the area it never cleans the deeper side and it went back to the original area in the shallow end completely missing where I need it to clean. This machine is way too much work for the short time it actually cleans. The rubber wheel piece that makes the machine move completely came off and no way to reattach it!!! I’ve only had it 5 months and used it 6 times!!

I got tired of my name brand sweep always getting a tangled cord. Since I didn't want to spend over $1,000 on a cordless sweep I thought I would give this one a try. Color me pleasantly surprised! I have an inground pool that is about six feet in the middle and sloaps to both ends which are about four feet. When I received it I put it on the charger and it was ready to go the next day. Press the on button and place in the pool. The sweep does a great job getting the fine stuff on the bottom as well as leaves and other debris! It also has the power to climb the sides right up to the tile. Run time is over two hours which is plenty of time for the sweep to cover the entire pool. This sweep is methodical in cleaning the entire pool. The sweep comes with a hook which can be used to attach to an existing pole to retrieve the sweep when it done. The debris compartment is easily accessed and a quick spray cleans it up for the next time. Put it back on the charger and it's ready to go the next day if needed. A truly great product that does the job at a reasonable price.

Update!! If you’re curious how effective this robot is at cleaning stuff out of the deep end, here’s a fun story. I dive in our pool with my contacts in. I came up, missing one. I assumed it was lost forever. We put the robot in the next day for its cleaning, and it actually found it. It also did not damage my gas permeable contact! I’m in disbelief. This robot is exceptional, if you don’t have a tanning ledge, and if you don’t mind that it won’t clean stairs. These contacts cost over $200 each, and because they are custom fitted, it takes over a week to make them. My eye dr is backed up a month on appointments, and his assiciayr could see me, but I’m very hard to fit. So with out this robot finding this lense, I was going to be in a lot of discomfort for a month. For that reason, I feel like this robot deserves 5 stars, even though the tanning ledge and stairs are a weakness. Original review: This bot does a fair job of cleaning my pool. I say fair, because it does an exceptional job of cleaning parts of my pool, ubt nearly no cleaning on the stairs, or the tanning ledge, nor on the pool walls near the taning ledge. THis is a good thing bad thing. It shows how much cleaning the pool needs, and how exceptionally it cleans the deeper portions. I think if you have a relatively simple pool, this may be exceptional for you. But I don't want to spend close to $500 for a robot that wont do everything. Ill buy em, try em, and eventually Ill find a great one for my application, and return the others. This goes in the return pile for me, but that doesn't mean it wont be great for you. Like I said, its exceptional at cleaning the areas it will clean. Side note, it parks in the deep in when done. If you don't have a pole to go on the included hook, you're diving in to get it each time. It does however come with a proprietary hook that will grab it, you just need the pole. We are trying to avoid buying a pole, as we don't want to store it. This is a new pool, and we are figuring things out.

Bought this last month, and overall it's worth what it costs. It does the job very well, and the pool is cleaner in between pool service visits. It charges very quickly and covers the whole pool just fine (12' x 20'). Small things I don't particularly like but are not deal-breakers: It always finishes up in the deep end! Yes, the hook it comes with makes it easy to retrieve, but why always the deep end? The basket is a little clutzy to remove and replace after cleaning. It works, but ergonomic design is clunky. The app you're supposed to use is totally worthless. It found the device but called it a home ceiling fan (picture of the device, but???). And there is nothing you can do with the app!!! Thankfully, the default mode is whole-pool, but seriously...hire some better app developers, please.

I love this robot! I am a new pool owner and had read some mixed reviews about the robots. So, I decided to buy a fairly expensive creepy crawler. I was really excited for my creepy crawler but it took maybe 5 minutes for it to get stuck in a corner and not move. I tried everything but the creepy crawler kept getting stuck in the same corner. I returned the creepy crawler and decided I would look for a robot. I was drawn to the Robotic Pool Cleaner because it had about 200 reviews with an average of 4.8 stars. I thought, that seems like enough people had tried it out and liked it. The Robotic Pool Cleaner is awesome. My whole family loves it. It was ready to go when it arrived. All I had to do was push 1 button and drop it in pool. It then runs for about 2.5 hours. It climbs all the walls, gets my shallow ledge, gets the entirely of the bottom of the pool. It does a great job. Even when my pool appears clean, the cleaning filter/basket on the robot is loaded up. It gets the tinyest debris. It will pick up hairs, sand, pebbles, everything. When I am done, I just grab it with the provided hook, clean the filter and plug it in overnight to charge. I have run the robot about 15 times so far and it has been a success everytime.

Just don't, pick a different seller and robot. I have had this robot for 8 months, and it worked great, and then just wouldn't turn back. The seller does not have any contact info on Amazon. I have tried ordering a new charger and tried different outlets. The charger flashes, and the robot won't charge. The seller promises a one-year warranty and 3 years of tech support if you can get in touch with them. Update: I was able to get in touch with the seller. They do not support purchases from Amazon, only from their official website, to be able to use the warranty. So essentially no warranty if purchased through Amazon. $400 worth of garbage :(

I have an above ground 30' round pool and was using a pool cleaner that had a hose that connected to the skimmer and it worked ok but could not reach the far side of the pool and did not clean the walls. After reading many reviews I decided to invest in a robotic pool cleaner. I was looking for one that would clean my pool, was able to handle dirt and leaves and did not break the bank. First impressions - It climbs the wall of my pool very well. It has very good suction and leaves nothing behind the area it goes over. It appears to have a program that will slowly cover the entire pool area. The cleaner will last about 3hrs per charge and it takes 2 charges to fully clean the pool. The pool is 4.5' deep and when on the bottom it turns on you can see the water movement at the surface from the cleaner. The robot talks to you in a robot voice (kind of annoying) that I am sure some people will think is cute or like. It is easy to retrieve from the pool with the hook provided and a pole I use with a brush to clean the sides of the pool. I have owned this for a little over a month and I am very happy so far. It is easy to clean out the basket after use and charges fairly quick. I have not timed the charging or the exact run time. I have only tried it in one mode that cleans the sides and bottom of the pool. As the pool season winds down I will try and use it in bottom only mode to sweep up the leaves that fall. About 6 months in use and the rubber track broke on it. I tried to contact customer support about it and no response. As of this writing and about 2 months passed and not being able to get a response from them I have decided to update my review. With the lack of response from customer support I cannot recommend this item when it breaks under warranty and you cannot get anybody to reply to get a resolution.
