I was a bit hesitant about buying this pool cleaner because of the price, but I’m so glad I took the plunge. It cleans better than the expensive bot I had in the past, and I honestly wasn’t expecting that! My pool has never looked better—no more manual scrubbing or worrying about spots being missed. It picks up everything from dirt to leaves with ease. What I love most is how easy it is to use. I just turn it on, set it in the pool, and it handles the rest. The best part is that I can leave it to do its job without having to babysit it. It covers every corner of the pool, and when it’s done, it parks itself right by the edge for easy retrieval. This was our first full pool season after having our pool built last year and the robotic pool cleaner that was included in our pool build decided to stop working right after we opened in the middle of May. So after going over a lot of reviews on Amazon, I decided to buy the Reiou Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner. Item came boxed well with easy to follow instructions. Set up was a breeze and initial charge took about an hour or so. In terms of quality of performance it's way better than the 3x more expensive prior robotic pool cleaner that we had. This cleaner is way faster and works much harder in scrubbing both the bottom and the sides. It also works more like a Roomba in that it seems to learn the contours of the pool and work more like a lawn mower in a grid system. Much more efficient. Only slight negative is battery life, but given the power it works with, no surprise. It charges up pretty quickly, and unlike the surface cleaning for our pool, which is a near constant need, the floor cleaning is a 2-3x week job. So no problem. Excellent product. Final shout out: NO CORDS. I'm 99.9% sure the robotic cleaner before failed because of a short in the WIRE that connected the unit to the power. That can't be a problem here because it's CORDLESS. Much lighter. And you can pull it out of the water easily with the hook attachment they give you. Smaller footprint and good build quality. Easy to empty as well.

This thing is great. We have the kind of in-ground pool that slopes down from the shallow to deep end, but also has slopes from the the deep end walls down to the very bottom of the deep end of the pool. We had a very similar robot vac that would always get stuck in corners in all pool mode, but this one covers the whole pool -- the bottom, the slopes, the walls, and the waterline. It's fine filter catches everything. The app makes it easy to switch modes (though it would be better if you could do that via the button...which I could swear I did once. But I use all pool mode now all of the time, so that doesn't matter.) It's very easy and quick to clean, easy to charge, and does what I need it to do -- always a full load of gunk in it when done (leaves, sand, worms, slugs, fine particles from trees, etc.). And the price is WAY better than some of those on Top 10 lists. I recommend it!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have previously had robotic pool cleaners that I purchased because they were more affordable, but sometimes you just have to make an investment for a better product. I read the reviews and what sold it for me was the fact that it will even do floors/walls on an above ground pool, which is what we have. I don't use the wall function as I have magnetic solar lights on the walls, but with the app I can program it for floor only, and I typically select slow speed rather than standard. I also loved that I could personalize the color of the unit. I chose purple so I could see it through the water better. We just recently had our liner replaced and there's a lot of sand still on the bottom of it, but this unit makes fast work of it, and it's not bothered by a less than perfectly level bottom of the pool. Previous cleaners I had would get stuck in the depressions in the bottom of the pool where the base sand had settled, but they didn't have the nice track system like a mini-tank that this one has. It charges quickly, flashes red when it's out of charge, and it "speaks" when it is ready to go or is out of battery. One thing to note is that when you use the app to change its settings, the unit must be out of the water. I learned quickly that it cannot be programmed once its cycle has started in the water. All in all, this is still affordable but does an amazing job. The battery lasts about 3 hours and every time I pull it out to clean it, I'm amazed at the debris that comes out from the last time I cleaned. Functionality: Programmable Suction: Gets fine, particulate debris Durability: Weight of the unit is heavy, but its weight helps it remain on the floor of the pool Pick up capacity: Gets just about everything the first time Movement: Moves forward and backward, recalibrates when it senses an obstacle and gets the entire pool. This robotic pool cleaner makes pool maintenance so much easier. Setup is simple — just press the button, drop it in the water, and it gets to work. It cleans the floor, walls, and even the waterline without missing spots. The suction is really strong, and it picks up everything from fine dirt to leaves. I like that it works on different surfaces — my pool is concrete, and it climbs walls without any issues. The different modes (floor, wall, or full coverage) are very useful, depending on what the pool needs. The motor runs quietly and feels powerful, and being cordless makes it much more convenient compared to older models I’ve used. It’s sturdy, easy to clean the filter basket, and saves me a lot of time.
