I absolutely love this pool vacuum and have recommended it to several people I know that have above ground pools. I did see that in the description it states flat bottom pools but did not know exactly what that meant until it arrived and I saw the instructions show the flat up and down sided pool - no curve - We have an index above ground pool with curved sides apparently so I was a little bummed out at first - BUT - I put it in the pool and it works just fine - it actually climbs up the walls maybe 12" inches and then continues on back and forth. I imagine that it has flat bottom pool to avoid anyone that finds it may have flipped in the climbing process - so far I have not encountered that problem at all. It collects everything at the bottom of the pool!! I don't use the hook it came with mainly because I don't have a pole to use it with and refuse to buy another pool item that costs over $20 I just use my pool net to grab it and drag it up the side. our above ground pool is 12'x 24' it is also currently not completely level - which we did not know while we were filling it and plan to remedy that after this season- the vacuum has no problem

Either this product doesn’t work or I got a dud. Charged it all night make sure it was fully charged. Turned on the button and let it go in the pool. As soon as I hit the edge of the pool, it just stays there. I gave it time. It stood there for a solid 23 minutes. It never moved. it doesn’t back up when on the edge. Shuts down middle of the pool. I have to nudge it with the pole. the whole point of having a wireless robot so that I’m not out there nudging it every 30 seconds for it to go. I’m gonna try to just get one of those cordless vacuums instead because if I have to stand out there, I might as well actually be doing something. I’m hoping this is just broken. I will try returning it and getting a new one to see if they all worked like this.

This little robot has helped us clean out our horribly green pool! Since we got this we were able to get all the sand and leaves that have accumulated in the bottom of our pool. Moves through the pool great, just more random than we'd like. Wish it had more of a straight back and forth until it cleaned everything. My husband tied a bobber to it so we could find it as it moved around the pool. He just moved it to where we needed it cleaned. Overall for the money it was well worth it.

This vacuum does a really good job in my 33ft round above ground pool. I was really amazed by its performance. The reason I gave it a 4 star is because there was a couple different places it didn’t vacuum. If this thing had a remote control with it so you could lead to the spots it missed would just been great. Also with a remote control you could lead it to places it hadn’t already been. If I was controlling where this vacuum went, it would have took less time to vacuumed the entire pool. I wished that was an option for this vacuum to had a remote with it but it wasn’t. I would definitely buy this vacuum again. After the vacuum was done it parked at the edge. When I took it apart to clean it there was more debris in there than what I expected to see. It does a fine job with suction and picks up debris wherever it goes though.

I really wanted to love this product as it was a great price compared to similar brands, and there are a good number of high ratings. Unfortunately we just didn’t have a good experience. I charged fully overnight after unboxing, turned on and popped it into our 18’x48” Coleman AG pool. It instantly took off across the pool, hit the wall on the other side… and didn’t move. After watching intently for a solid minute, I walked over and used our pole to nudge it a bit and then it took off again. So not stuck? Just… paused. And that’s how it seems to work for us. I’ve charged it every night, and used it every day, for one week. Sometimes I see it move across once or twice, and then sits again. I even had to fish it out from the middle of the pool a few times. I do like that it comes with a hook attachment for a pole, and one cool feature I noticed is that when you first set it into the water, sometimes it looks like it’s about to land on its side, but it uses its little flaps to level itself out so it always ends right side up. I notice it also does pick up things, even sand. So the vacuum feature does work well, it just doesn’t effectively cover our pool, whatsoever. Also, picture shows gray but ours came white. No big deal, just an FYI.

We are new pool owners and we are so happy with this little robot vacuum. Last year, we had to replace the liner so we didnt even clean the pool and this is our first year actually opening a pool. I charged the vacuum until the green light came on and it worked great. I'm sure this little guy is more for maintenance clean up and not opening the pool, but that's how we used it and it turned out great. I have ran it 5 times over the past 4 days, and our pool is pretty clean. The vacuum was on sale for $99, so I gave it a shot and I'm so glad I did.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought this for my above ground pool. I was so excited to get this vacuum. I put it in the pool and it moved a foot and then stopped. manually trues to push it around different areas of the pool and it would barely move. It doesnt like the slightest elevations in the pool floor or ANY creases. The manufacturer has cheaply made this where it doesnt provide enough power to make it over a small crease in the floor, and the wheels have no traction. I returned this as quickly as I bought it.

Not bad. It cleans well. But it doesn’t have a pattern that I have noticed to it cleaning. It goes until it can’t and then turns. It may miss spots, but if you charge it and put it back it May or may not get what was missed. No complaints it works for the intent of my purchase. Very easy to use. Just charge press the button and put it in water.
