These Moonice Cordless Pleated Window Shades are a thicker fabric that appears durable. Entirely more durable than paper and even vinyl slats. These are solid material so they have to be lifted to get light. They do help keep the heat or cold out. They are private at night trying to look inside from the outside with the interior lights on. They provide good privacy. They felt flimsy out of the box and seemed upside down to me at first. The bar is not the top, it is the hand pull rail. The clear plastic slat where the adhesive is located is the top. The adhesive holds good and there are two small holes where you can install small screws if you like. They install super easy and fast and the look great with curtains down the sides of the window. They perform well. Pulling them down is simple but lifting them up you need to go at a gentle pace to allow them to fold properly into place. They fold up like an accordion. They fold and lift neatly and stay up. I think I am just adjusting to a fabric from wood blinds on those windows. It could just be an adjustment for me. These are perfect window coverings for the first night in a home. They are cut to fit, provide thermal protection and complete privacy. If you haven't decided on window treatments yet. These go up fast and simple and provide a good backdrop for whatever treatment you end up choosing. I can see just keeping them up long term. They are easy and look good but I think I would wait for them to go on sale to purchase a whole house. The seem a good shade but durability is key at this price . I will have to see how long they last. Especially the larger sizes.

If you want something easy to install, this is absolutely the product for you. These shades come with a utility knife, so you can quickly cut them to the exact width you need. This made it incredibly simple to get a perfect fit for my bathroom window, which has always been tricky to size correctly. After years of struggling with blinds that were either slightly too small or too large, this was the first window covering that fit exactly right. The installation is basically peel-and-stick, and the adhesive is 3M, so there’s a reliable brand behind it. I wasn’t too worried about paint damage since my trim needs touch-up anyway, but for anyone concerned, there are also holes at the top that allow you to secure the shade with screws instead. I chose the light-filtering option because I wanted natural light during the day while still maintaining privacy. These shades do exactly that—they let in a soft, pleasant amount of sunlight while keeping the room private. They are ideal for bathrooms or any space where you want both brightness and coverage. They do tend to bunch a bit in the middle, but it smooths out once you redistribute the folds. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. I also think adding a curtain valance or covering at the top helps hide the installation strip and creates a more finished look. Overall, I wasn’t sure what I was getting into with these shades, but they turned out to be wonderful—easy to customize, simple to install, and exactly what I needed for a window that’s been a challenge for years. I’m extremely pleased with the result.

Very clean, modern looking window shades. They are made of high-quality non-woven fabric and install without any other tools other than the included razor blade to cut to the desired width. Simple enough to cut using the cutting guide and razor provided to get the width I needed to fit perfectly within the framing. They were very easy to install using the 3m tape. The 3m tape has held up so far and stuck easily to the top of my window framing during installation. Time will tell how long this tape will hold. I will update if any issues arise. They fit and function as expected and the cordless design is nice although maybe not as convenient in my case since my windows are long and extend down about a foot from the floor. But they raise and lower easily otherwise. Just remember to only grab the lower rail to prevent damage or staining the cloth shades. I'm not sure about the 5% light blocking rating though. As you can see in my pictures there is an adequate amount of light that comes through in direct sunlight. The 2 verical rows of holes for the hidden cords also let light though. In my case I didn't mind having some light come through but if you want a blackout shade that lets in as little light as possible this white blackout shade may not be for you.

Everything is included in this kit, right down to the blade needed for trimming and easy installation. These blinds go up quickly. They provide minimal light blocking but great privacy. The price for these blinds make them an easy decision for new homeowners.

If you want easy to install, this is the product for you. It comes with a utility knife so you can easily cut this to fit the space in your window for a top down mount. The brand of adhesive is 3M so there is a reliability behind that brand name. This is light filtering so I installed this in the bathroom where I want light during the daytime And I’m pleased with that. They do bunch a little bit in the middle, and that comes out when you re-distribute the blinds, but it’s just something to note. I also think I need curtains to hide the top because you have to cover the installation to make this look good.
