I wish the hook and loop was this good on all the pads I've bought in the past. As far as the sanding goes, they are good, but the longevity isn't that great. The 80 grit for example, on clean red oak, works for about an hour, of random use, not continual, then seems to only slide around like it's trying to sand, but gave up due to boredom or fatigue? Those of you 'experts' would call this 'loading". But they weren't. I went through several of them to sand one 36 in round oak unfinished table top before I could switch to a finer disc. Kinda tough to swallow since I would have to buy dozens of them to get through simple projects. But hey, the hook and loop is the best I have seen beating out the major brands.

These sanding pads don't wear out fast and they don't fly off. When it's times to change the pad it's even hard to get off sometimes I have to practically peal them off. I highly recommend these sanding disc!

Used these discs to refinish a table and four chairs. It is nice to have such a large amount of sanding discs, as well as a large range of grits, but these are definitely not as high quality as other sandpapers like 3M. While using my Ryobi orbital sander, the felt on the back of these discs would often melt off or tear apart long before the sand paper was full used. At one point they even melted so badly that I had to replace the Velcro pad on my sander, as sand paper would no longer stick to it. Because they fell apart so easily, I went through around 2-3 times more sand paper than I usually would for a project like this, which also made it take quite a bit longer. That being said, it is nice to have such a variety of coarseness to use, it’s just unfortunate that they fall apart so easily. In the future, I would rather spend a little more on better quality sand papers than have a lot that just fall apart, like these.
