We have a small cargo trailer conversion. This is our first time using the screens. The front screen fits better than the side one, but both are doing what we wanted. They are giving us shade and keeping it cooler.

When I have afternoon sun and it's hot out, I cant keep my RV cool. The sun shade helps if the afternoon/evening sun is coming from that side. I also don't think it's worth the time/effort to install for a 1-2 day trip. If you are staying in a place with VERY hard ground, the tie down process is difficult. consider filling up milk/water jug that has a handle on it, for your tie down. The thickness of the material is probably in the sweet spot. -Thick enough to block much of the sun, but not so thick that the wind has complete control of it. My wife has a small poultry operation and we use them for shade awnings. They are so much better than the purpose built shade cloths that fall apart. This cloth really holds up well and keeps the sun of the birds.

We have an enclosed trailer that we have semi converted to a toy hauler. It already has an awning on it so i cannot wait to install this. Only complaint is that is does not seem to be exactly as pictured.
