I really, really like this blower. I already have the 100 CFM DeWalt blower, but this thing literally blows it away. The biggest thing that I like about this blower is at the air intake is from the rear and not the side. That way you're not constantly sucking the air inlet closed up against your leg as you're moving back and forth. Also, the battery being at the very rear makes it very easy to use a large capacity battery and still have a very balanced fuel using this blower. There are adjustable speeds with the roller wheel above the trigger located near the thumb while you're using it. I do wish that there was a trigger lock for a long time use, but it's not fatiguing enough to be an issue. But it would have been nice. The blower outlet is large enough that any debris that happens to get sucked through is going to go right on through without any issues. It's really quiet for what it can handle as well. It handles well and the handle is really comfortable, the tubes lock on tight and don't wiggle. All in all, this thing is a super value and moves a ton of air. I wanted to try it out immediately so I went out in my front yard and tried to blow some wet oak leaves that had fallen, and to my surprise it did a phenomenal job. It took me almost an hour with my smaller DeWalt blower last week to blow a similar leaf load but they were dry. Today it only took me 10 to 15 minutes max with wet leaves to achieve the same result. Huge difference. This thing is worth every penny, and I really like it.

I used this leaf blower for the first time today to blow off the few leaves left over from winter. I used it to blow off the driveway too. All I can say is that I wish I had one of these years ago!! This blower doesn't come with a battery, but it uses Makita 18V lithium batteries which I had a bunch of. Apparently some of these have an issue with the battery not going on easily. I have no problem at all with the battery going on or taking it off. Hard to believe that there are one star reviews because it didn't come with a battery, and because it's not a genuine Makita. Apparently there are people who don't read the description. This blower has a thumb wheel to adjust the blower from 1 to 5. On 5 it's powerful enough to blow small rocks and sticks. It has more than enough power to blow lots of leaves. One thing I noticed is that it does drain lots of power on high. I used up a 4Ah battery in about 35/40 minutes, but it was on high the whole time.. You will notice the speed slowing down as the battery voltage drops, so make sure you have a good, fully charged battery before you give this a bad review for not blowing hard. This blower has plenty of power if you have good batteries. I love this thing. I just hope it lasts me a couple years anyway. For $50 you can't go wrong with this blower, as long as you don't get one that has an issue with the battery going on and off. It does what I wanted it to do and more. I like that you can control it with the thumb wheel steplessly. No set speeds like most others. Adjust it to what you need and I'm willing to bet you don't need to use it on high most of the time. Great leaf blower, I just hope it lasts a while. I'll update if needed. As long as it stays working good no need to update!

Very good purchase. Good battery life (approx. 15mins per 4/5/6AH battery, albeit they are not new batteries). Able to run the blower about 3hrs total, rotating/charging 4 batteries before “Heat Delay” stopped me. Strong operation, diminishes with battery charge. Worthwhile purchase.

I was skeptical, but figured it wasn't much of a gamble at $55. I'm really glad that I did! I have a Milwaukee M12 blower that's okay. I needed something more powerful for work (drive a semi, and have to clean out my trailers all the time). So, I got this. It's pretty powerful, and it's well built. I'd like to put it up against a Milwaukee M18. I think this would hold it's own. As far as battery life, this thing will eat up a small 1.5a battery in 5 minutes or less. A 5a battery lasts maybe 15 minutes. Bit, it pushes a good amount of air and will clear the area pretty quickly. The handle is a bit more ergonomic than the Milwaukee blower. The size is about what you'd expect, and the noise level isn't too bad. Overall, I'd say it's a bargain.

I own an extremely powerful Husqvarna backpack blower, but also wanted something quieter and lighter for small tasks. Since I already own some 20V DeWalt tools, I already had the batteries and charger, so this seemed like a good choice. I was a little wary because the price seemed too good to be true, but I was pleasantly surprised when the blower arrived. Three minutes later, I had it all set up and running. It's light enough to use with one hand, but powerful enough to blow even damp leaves. I also blew some acorns and even some hickory nuts. It wasn't strong enough to move large sticks like my Husqvarna can, but it can easily handle 90% of what I need. It's also a lot easier to operate, just plug in the battery and pull the trigger (unlike the Husqvarna which requires mixing fuel and oil, priming the engine, flipping a couple of switches, and pulling the starter cord, not to mention periodic maintenance tasks like replacing the air filter and spark plugs). I'd say that it's about as loud as a hair dryer, much quieter than the Husqvarna, which requires ear protection to operate. Overall, it seems like a good piece of gear and a great value for the money. Finally, this is a honest review by a real person who spent their own money to buy this machine. I did not receive (nor would I accept) any sort of bribe from anyone.
