This little powerhouse is one of the best things I've bought on Amazon in the last couple of years. The price is so low that the risk is minimal. If it didn't work I could just return it. But right out of the box, this mini chainsaw was a delight. It cut through branches like a hot knife through butter, and the battery lasted longer than I did: By that I mean that I had cut everything I wanted the first day and there was still plenty of juice left. I used it again over the next two or three days before I recharged it. I had been planning to have a professional come and do some yard cleanup (limbs, branches, small trees) after a storm. But with this remarkable little chainsaw, I was able to accomplish all the work myself. Even the brush removal was minimized, since I could so easily cut branches down into small logs for the fireplace. The savings of not having to hire additional help has now paid for the chainsaw at least ten times over so far, and it's still working fine. I'm delighted to offer such a great review. This little dynamo really delivers! Some caveats: I'm a fairly fit man, generally handy and comfortable with power tools. Although this tool so small and easy to handle that it actually looks like a toy, it is very powerful. In the wrong hands it could really hurt someone. I would advise extreme caution if there are any children around. It has good safety measures built into it, but any power tool can be dangerous if used improperly. Since this is designed to cut things, and since it works very well, it is more dangerous than most other power tools. Be sure that it's used only by responsible adults.

Works like a charm. Cuts through branches quickly. Safety features are a must for those of us inexperienced users. My only issue was with one of the 2 batteries that came with the saw. It would not charge in fairness to the seller, I did not report this as I did not discover this issue until the following year. One good thing: the battery that did work lasted long enough to do trimming on several trees/bushers in my yard, so I did not need the spare battery.

BUY THIS!! I recommend this mini chainsaw to everyone who cuts branches, small tree limbs and much more. I have the 4” and it cuts like butter! Very easy to handle and it’s light weight. It takes the place of using loppers that tire your shoulders and back out! The battery lasted me over 1 hour of continuous cutting. Just keep the spare battery charged for more cutting! It makes clean cuts and it is not strenuous to use. It cuts by itself and no sawing motion is necessary. The chain is holding up well and doesn’t need oiling like a big chainsaw. . But, I do oil the chain after some use to maintain the chain. There is not a hole to add oil, I just put it on the chain and wipe the excess off. Make sure to keep the chain and unit clean after every use and the storage case is handy. The extra chain and battery is a nice extra. The gloves are plain cotton ones and the safety glasses are really cheap. The chainsaw itself makes up for that!! It is not noisy like a big chainsaw. This is an amazing tool to have. I absolutely LOVE it. Buy this brand as it is well built and works great.

I initially bought this for my wife because she can't start any of my gas chainsaws. But I find myself using it for smaller jobs. The batteries won't last quite as long as a tank of gas in my regular saws, but it does very well. And quiet! I don't have to use any hearing protection. That is the most impressive thing in my opinion.

I bought this nifty little chainsaw a few months ago. It was used numerous times here at home for trimming and cutting up small downed branches after wind storms. I was instantly impressed, but I was impressed even more after a recent trip to work at some acreage I bought. I hired a company to do some bush hogging work for me, but hundreds of sapling stubs were left behind to trip me with nearly every step. Most were too large to cut with loppers, but were just right to be cut with my fabulous little chainsaw. I cleared away every tripping hazard I could find over the course of several days, and never even charged the batteries until after I was completely finished with the job. Charging was amazingly fast. I've only had to tighten the chain once, and it was easy to do with the included tools. The plastic storage case is durable, and holds everything neatly in place. The only thing you'll need that is not included is some lubricant for the chain. I'm glad to have this in my arsenal of tools. Worth every penny of the purchase price. Buy one. You'll LOVE it!

This little hand saw is strong, batteries last surprisingly long and cuts branches that are pretty thick. Comes with a lot of things for the price paid. $44.00. Half the price of name brand saws. Wanted the Ryobi saw but too expensive for me at the time. This little saw did a good job! Be careful as it can skip so hold it tight. My big complaint and it’s very frustrating is the battery slides off mid cut! All the time. I got so darn frustrated that I used zip ties across the body to hold the battery on. This can be dangerous and distracting. Never seen anything like it. It’s probably cheap because the batteries don’t stay connected. If you can tolerate it with zip ties like I have been for a few months it works good and if you need a budget tool, this is it.

This is a great product at an attractive price. It includes a nice case with gloves, safety glasses, charger, and an extra battery. It's lightweight and easy to handle, so my wife is also able to use it. I was amazed at how such a small tool can cut through a 2 inch limb on a tree. A minor criticism is that the safety button is on the left side of the handle under the thumb for a right-handed person. Not so good for a southpaw.
