First of all, I'm a sucker for a power tool in a good plastic case. This angle grinder does not disappoint in that respect. All of the parts fit in foam cut outs and the case is well-made and would easily survive being thrown in the back of a work truck. The grinder itself has plenty of power, and with two batteries unless you're really doing some heavy work you should have power to spare. I cut off a piece of 1/8 inch aluminum bar stock which was like cutting butter with a hot knife. I also cut the end off a three-quarter inch galvanized fitting (it's what was handy at the time) And although it took a little time the grinder did not bog down at all. I like that there is both a battery indicator and a power switch on the back of the unit. It has a trigger lock when you're doing long repetitive tasks and the requisite adjustable blade guard. My only wish is that I could put it in the case with the blade guard attached but I have to disassemble the entire unit to put it in there. This means that it will probably not spend very much time in the case if I use it with any regularity. If you're looking for a battery powered angle grinder, definitely consider this unit. The only other downside and I would not count it as a big negative is the batteries seem to be proprietary and this unit doesn't work with any of the other batteries I have. Not a big deal since there are two. Of course, battery life is something I can't judge until I've had it a while And that could be problematic if they need to be replaced anytime soon. For now, a solid five stars.

First, if you are expecting something with the oomf of a corded grinder you will be disappointed. My standard grinder for cleaning up welds is a DeWalt corded grinder. This is not that, What it is, is convenient. It comes with 2 batteries that seem to run the grinder for about 40 minutes in total. I was putting pretty heavy load on this by using it as a cutoff, to get rid of a couple of stubborn bolts.

Ok so I actually like it so I own another red tool can't say the name but it spins at 13000 rpm and this one is advertised at like 12k I can tell a difference but it's not that much and wow for the price it's not bad I have two other angle grinders ones a $170 ones a $80 but man this is not bad for the price point Plus you get two batteries that come with it I've had the "best brands" and sure they are good but so is this one. The biggest difference between the more expensive ones and this one is this one has just a tad smaller rpm I can cut things easily with this and it performs great I have this companies heat gun and I like that too so this was a no brainer to get and so far no regrets I'll keep the review updated though cause you never know but right now it's performance is great! So I would recommend to anyone who wants a decent angle grinder for the fraction of the cost of a expensive brand sure maybe a tad bit less power and speed but for the money it's worth it in my opinion.

This angle grinder has about the same heft and speed as my ancient corded tool. It comes with a nice presentation in a plastic carry box. I removed the foam liner from the box so I could store the assembled tool without needing to remove the handle, guard, and blade. I didn’t notice at first that the tool has 3 speeds (better than that old corded one-speed grinder). This angle grinder arrived just in time because my lawn mower blade needed sharpening. So within the hour of unpacking, I put it to work… see photo. That was an easy job, and the grinder was flawless. I sure like that I didn’t have to plug in a cord. The 2 included LI-ION batteries are medium-powered so heavy-duty cutting and grinding may take some time. For a typical homeowner, this tool is perfect.

The media could not be loaded. This little 4 1/2" cordless brushless grinder has surprising power! I tried it out on a 3/8" hardened steel rod and it cut like a champ . At first the noise it makes is a little off putting, but I realized that the grinder has a brake, so the sound is explained. The molded, padded case the grinder comes with is foam lined to prevent damage. Two 4.0 Ah batteries come in the case along with three discs, a handle, and guard. At $49.99, it's amazing to find a grinder this nice with a case and accessories. Recommended!
