I wish I could find a canopy tent that could withstand these ridiculous gusts in the high desert. I had the legs weighted and pegged but a good wind twisted the whole frame and fractured the legs. Almost sent it into the neighbor's yard. I will say that this did hold up better than some of the others I have tried. Being able to add weights/rocks, to the pockets on the canopy cover at the corners helped keep it stable. I think the day it failed we had some unannounced 30mph gusts. It faired fine in the 10-15mph but one nasty gust, which also tried to take our garbage can, and it completely failed. I can't rightly complain entirely about this tent as I don't think it is designed to handle those winds, but it would be nice that if they throw in the "steel frame" construction that they also consider the aerodynamic effects of strong wind gusts and torque values at stress points on the frame. ... show more

You will need two people to set up. Not complicated to set up just a little awkward. I like the amount of shade coverage and the top is waterproof. Come with built in sand bags. I am very happy with this canopy. We got it to use at the lake and the beach. Set up was very easy and quick (more hands to help and it will be up in a couple minutes but can still be done alone). Carrying case is well made and the canopy fits easily right back into it. It has rope and ground pegs to help hold it down in windy conditions. However, the sand pockets built into the canopy was all we used and didn't even move when we had a few wind gusts. We easily fit 4 chairs under it with a big cooler and didn't feel like we were squished together. Also, we were all able to stand and walk in and out, from under the canopy without stooping over. I do a craft fair every other month that requires a tent. I had to skip one of them (that I had already paid for) because it was windy and I knew this tent would NOT hold up in the wind, so that was a bummer. Today was only my third time using it. Everything was fine until I was taking it down. A very LIGHT breeze came through and broke one of the supports at the joint. Super frustrating to only get three uses out of it!! ... show more

Purchased for a vending event, great at first look but had to return due to a few tirn areas where velcro was attached. Wonderful and fast return for the same design. It held up great until last weekend. The brackets holding the rods broke beyond repair. This time it's too late for a return, it didn't last 3 months. ... show more
