I absolutely love this sofa. Its the perfect size. Most sofas available on Amazon are over 50 inches wide. Which is great but I'm putting this in my office and have very limited space. It sits between my closet door (I barely go in) and the rooms door which opens all the way. As you can see in the pic, it can seat two( I can sit next to my shollie mix just fine). But being by myself, I love the extra space for added comfort. And I barely leave my office now lol I love all of its features. The ottoman portion is easy to pull out, pull up, and set. And even easier to put away. The wheels are fine on my low pile carpet office. You can actually remove the ottoman portion (foot rest) easily. This is how I was able to bring it up to my second floor with no issue. It reclines in 3 places. 90 degrees, about 130 degrees, and flat. Perfect since I'll place a tv to the right of it but it will be on a mount that will extend 40 inches in front of the sofa. And the most unexpected part about this sofa is the snack tray hidden in the arm rest. You simply lift up the arm and pull out the tray. I also decided to put a USB hub in there so I can charge my devices as I use them while sitting. It's very comfortable in my opinion. Most futons are very hard because you can feel the base. But the cushion on this sofa is very comfy. The velvet cover is also soft and handles dog hair with ease. The color is as pictured. And looks great. Pillows are decent. I fell asleep on this soundly with no back issues or anything. Since some still manage to find similar sofas like this uncomfortable, I'll just say if you need a pillow top soft mattress, maybe add a mattress cover when you sleep. But I personally think it's not needed. Especially when just lounging. Lastly, I saw that I have been using the reclining features wrong. The seller reached out to me to let me know just how to use them. To lay flat, pull forward til click then let go slowly. To lift to middle position, lift til first click and then let go. (If it clicks more than once, it won't hold. Start again). To get back to first position (90 degree) from second position, lift til 1 click. To go from flat to 90 degrees, 2 clicks then let go. It may be confusing on first read but when you get one, you'll understand. I hope it helps. ... show more

Simply ‘ditto’ to all other five star reviews! But here’s good TIPS! It comes packaged exceptionally well in a huge 40”x40”x19” box. Set it up on one end. Open the bottom or top down the middle. You may carefully use a box cutter to open. The sofa is wrapped in foam sheeting and a layer of styrofoam. Next, either fold back the two flaps, or cut them off at the seam. The sofa comes basically in two big parts and is packed tightly, so no way to lift or pull it out of the box. Lay the box down open side to the floor, and lift the box up off of the sofa. FIRST, to the bottom part, attach two wheels with screwdriver included. Screw in the four legs. NEXT, Slide the back and bottom sofa together. The pull out is already attached. THEN ALIGN and SLIDE each side arm PRESSED FIRMLY against the sofa, LOCKING in the THREE brass fittings. This may take several tries to lineup and catch ALL THREE fittings. Be patient. If the arm wobbles, it’s not all locked in. The arms will only be secure with no movement when all three are locked in. It only takes a few minutes to assemble. To tear down the huge box, cut off each flap using a box cutter or sharp SERRATED knife. CUT DOWN THE SEAMS FROM THE INSIDE OF THE BOX! Much easier than from the outside. A great wide chair for a living room where you want to have a statement piece! The flip up desk is kinda flimsy though and feels cheap. I haven't used it as much as I thought I would. The pink velvet feels soft and lovely but do know that it does show every speck of dirty lol. I live with a small dog and no children so it's doing fine in my spot, but I do sometimes have a dirty boot that brushes past it and I have to get out my portable carpet cleaner to buff it away.... Not a deal breaker of course and it is a unique and light color. The accents on each arm the little metal flaps are super funny and quirky to me. They look kinda silly and like they're trying to hard but I still like them. I have used the chair as a little bed to take a nap, it's not super super cozy but it definitely is good enough to comfortably nap on for 30-45 minutes. I read in it a lot so it's a good curl up and read chair. - If you're looking for a chair that's big but not too big and can fit two skinny people and you can take a nap on, this is a great option! The part that pulls out works well and is smooth. - I painted the feet gold and I love it!! - One star off for the flip up hidden desk being so cheap... The hinge on the arm that it hides in is also pretty ugly looking if you notice it... Not a failure, but the hinge looks very cheap and uneven. Like it has to be the worst looking hinge I've ever seen on furniture lol but hey it's not an expensive piece of furniture so expectations are low and that's why I only took one star off for it. If it breaks maybe I'll drop another star but for now 4/5 feels accurate. (see photo) ... show more
