I bought this drone for my 14 yo son who has never had a drone before. I was looking for a good quality drone with all the advanced features, but at a price that wouldn't kill me if he broke it or lost it as he was learning. I wanted something with a lot of range on it too because we have a large property to fly it on. This drone seemed to fit the bill, so I ordered it. It seems sturdy and well built, and the case is a really nice touch. The beginner mode has been great because my son was able to learn to fly without worrying about losing it. We just recently took it off beginner mode to see what it can do, and it really gets out there! The camera is pretty decent (pretty much what we expected for the 1080p version) and takes good pictures as long as it's not being blown around by the wind (don't expect a 3 axis gimbal for this price - but that's not needed for our use). We've had it out in roughly 10 - 15 mph wind with no issues at all holding its position. Return to home feature brings it right back in front of you by a few meters, and the land feature consistently lands it within about 1 meter of the take off location. We are new to drones, and this one was an easy learner, and it has the features to take us well into the intermediate stage too. Very happy with this purchase!

I started out with toy grade drones found in major retailers and was not satisfied with my experience with them. Until, I found this F24 (non pro) drone by Contixo. Everything down to the carrying case to the drone, the remote, the battery, all show a quality product. The construction of the F24 is well built, solid, not too light and has an amazing design to it. Everything literally folds super compact from the drone to the controller, all stored neatly into a nice carrying case. While charging everything before my first flight with a real drone, I made SURE to read the entire manual because it does have vital information on operating the drone. The GPS calibration is super easy to do and turning on and off the motors is such a great design apart from the cheaper drones. These brushless motors are what make this drone smooth paired with the GPS allowing it to hold it's position with very minimal sway. I was amazed how powerful, controllable, and stable this little drone was. Sharp 1080p camera paired with the "Contixo F22" app brings all the features with ease. Overall, this is a great drone for the real experience at a great price compared to higher end ones.

The media could not be loaded. This is a easy to learn intermediate drone with a ton of cool features like follow my phone gps signal, follow my image, set up automatic waypoint flight, gesture control, flight log and auto return home. The battery life is really good, I would venture to say my first 3 flights I got around 25-30 minutes. It handles fairly well in wind speeds up to 18 mph (the video footage is in 15 mph winds & approximately 150' high) I've never flown in speeds over 18 mph so far but its decently stable in the air. I've never taken it over 250 feet high yet its been kinda cold in wisconsin and I dont have the experience yet to feel comfortable flying that high. The range is very good I have the phone application set up around half way to allow me to fly away from me around 300 meters which is just about 1000' and it does it well no issues. The only improvements I would like to see is # 1 - A option of changing meters to feet on the app. # 2 - A easier way to set the GPS signal I always feel like a idiot spinning in a circle multiple times in public before I can take off and fly. # 3 - A larger bracket on the controller so I can keep my protective case on my phone and not have to remove it cause the bracket is too small for today's popular smart phones.

The drone is cheap, but you get what you pay for. It flies, and operates, but the performance isn’t there. Body: it’s cheap ABS plastic. Motor performance : Pretty good. The brushless motors were powerful enough Movement: I was disappointed. It wanders quite a bit, and the movement is somewhat erratic when hovering. When moving, it’s OK, but pretty slow. Remote Control: there is very little information other than height and distance. Speed and direction would help. Startup: This is a big con! You have to connect to Wifi, and spin around (and throw salt over your shoulder) TWICE before you even connect to it. What the heck? Lastly, the drone lasted only ONE flight. It promptly flew into a wall with NO INPUT from me, and one of the motors broke off. I would NOT recommend this drone. About me: I have been flying RC Helicopters for years. I started with the Blade 400 and have a CFX 180 now. also own a DJI Mavic 2 Air. It’s 4X the price, but also infinitely better.

While this unit seems good quality and I guess they have attempted to make it easy to use, the reality is that it is not. An enthusiast will probably take to it quickly, but if you are a novice and want something that is quick and easy to use, then forget it. Each time you fly it you have to go through a setup procedure, before you can even lift it off the ground. When it does fly, the stability is good compared to the really cheap drones, but it still wobbles about quite a bit and the sensitivity of the controls takes a bit of getting used to - one slight mistake and the thing can go crazy.

I bought this drone Nov 2020 for my boyfriend. It's worked well over the years. Last fall he got it stuck about 100ft up in a tree on our property and we were unable to get it down. It has gone through some pretty miserable weather since, TONS of rain (we live in Maine and have had some horrible storms), and snow storms. A few weeks ago he finally got it out of the tree and it didn't have any visable damage. We feared the internal damage would be what did it in, but it was left to dry out. Well... he charged it... and IT WORKS!! Everything works. We were truly shocked! Excellent product!
