Beautiful tenor ukulele with solid spruce top. Bone nut and saddle. No plastics...all wood. Great sustain. Intonation was good on two of the 4 strings, but two center strings appear to be slightly sharp in high range at 12th fret. I had digital tuner ordered to verify. If so, I’m going to contact Hola to see if they will adjust. I contacted Hola and unfortunately they would not help me. They referred me back to Amazon. I was disappointed to hear that level of customer support, even though it was a returned instrument that I purchased on Amazon. Fortunately, with minor adjustments this intonation issue was corrected at the bridge. Intonation Is now near perfect. I also changed out the high ‘G’ for a low G, because it will have a fuller, richer tone and range. Like I said, this was a returned Uke to Amazon and I purchased it at 50% off the normal price as used in very good condition. I can live with that. But apparently with no support from Hola. Figure that out...purchased from amazon, but no Hola support. Oh well. I’ll be buying two more Ike’s this year as gifts, but Hola probably lost those sales. Regardless, I must be fair about this HM-427SSR+ solid spruce top Uke...it seems flawless and I consider it a great value for a good quality, beautiful professional tenor Uke. The gig bag is decently made, but really not much of a high quality bag compared to the Uke. So-so gig bag. The strap is very nice, light, colorful and comfortable. This is the second Uke I’ve purchased, and I returned the first one, a Kmise solid spruce top, rosewood sides and back, concert model... because it was too small for my fingers. It was nice, but does not compare to this Hola tenor, which fits me better and has similar appearance to the Kmise, with both solid spruce tops and rosewood. This Hola is a much better quality Uke and a better value for my money. I’m new to ukulele but I know this is a mid to upper tier instrument. I find it to be very beautiful. Unfortunately, Hola support failed me and at this time this model tenor is no longer available. I don’t know if or when it will be. Check out the pics. Thumbs down for Hola support but thumbs up for a Beautiful tenor that plays great!

I decided to spend my pandemic quarantime time practicing on my ukulele. I purchased an excellent beginner soprano 2 yrs ago from Kala, and loved it. However, I found it difficult to play due to the small size (and I am a small person). I decided to upsize to a concert size, and decided I would spend a bit more money to get an instrument that I really loved to play. THIS IS IT!!! It's beautiful (I got the spruce top), very well crafted, and had my requirement for strap buttons. Most importantly, I love the sound and tone, and it is definitely much easier to play. I did try a less expensive model sold on Amazon, as I could not believe the affordable price (the Ranch concert, for $69). It was a great value (with an excellent case and incuded tuner), but not quite the "upgrade" I was looking for in terms of the quality of the instrument. I have been playing my new uke almost constantly! I researched many different brands sold here on Amazon and elsewhere, but this really checked off all of my boxes. The option of free returns (which I am definitely not planning to do) is great, as it is important to have the right "feel" on a musical instument and to hear the tone. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. Thank you Hola!

I own a Koaloha Opio Concert but wanted to know whether or not a tenor was better suited for myself. I don’t live anywhere near a music store that carries tenors to try out, and I didn’t want to spend too much money on an instrument if it wasn’t my preference. After researching the options on Amazon and evaluating my needs, I decided on this uke. I am very happy with my purchase! It arrived in excellent condition. The quality is great; no defects, rough edges or misaligned parts. The fretboard is comfortable to play with no issues. It looks great; the headstock, gold gear tuners and body details really make it feel unique. I love that it came with two strap buttons attached and in the exact places I want them; no need to fiddle with that on my own. It also sounds wonderful. The strings need stretching when you tune them, but I’ve never had an issue with that on this uke or the other I own. After a few days they hold well and only need tuning in the morning. This will improve as the days and weeks pass, and will eventually hold for long periods of time. I didn’t need all the bells and whistles that other beginner ukuleles come with, hence why I chose this one. Also, for resale purposes I thought this uke would have great value for any person I sell this to (for when I upgrade to a solid wood tenor uke or decided that a tenor size wasn’t for me). I’m absolutely thrilled with this ukulele and glad I chose it.
