If you have anal retention issues regarding uniformity, accuracy, cover, alignment, and overall color temperature than this product is one I recommend. If you are over 40 years old, already have the greenest grass in your country or state but you want your grass to be more national, I recommend this product. If the secondary motivation for your lawn to be so good comes from the neighbors who think they can compete with you, try everything you do but never do it with as much persistance, precision and proper protocol as you then I recommend this product. If within your secondary motivation lies the desire to dominate your neighbors subtly, have their envy turn to jealousy and watch them breakdown emotionally knowing this simply can't hang with your skills and attention to detail and when they they are just about to give up because the natural color of your grass from proper aearation, watering, sunlight, and cross-cutting is about to devestate them....use Turf and Grass Colorant. For expert homeowners only: 1. Grab a LED headlamp. 2. Have your color qualified colorant and applicator ready and tested at around 12:00pm when nobody is around. 3. Wait until about 3:00am and begin to apply this only after ensuring you have the desired color you want and you have protected the surrounding surfaces with platstic. If you are like me and are capable of applying the product within micrometer without spill over onto other surfaces you can disregard the plastic. 4. I bought this stuff elsewhere before and it's the best. You want green grass anytime? This is the stuff to get. Let's face it, the grass starts turning yellow in the hot months when there is barely any rain. No way to avoid. So what do you do when there is no rain and maybe your water is metered or you do not want to be outside? Paint your grass. Grass starts slowing down in growth in the hot dry months so painting is perfect. Mix 8 Ounces of this stuff per every 1 gallon of water used and mix with a regular pump sprayer set to the mist setting. Steady walk and mist the stuff on. As you walk back and see what you are laying down, you will notice the amazing green shade looks very real, your grass will look super healthy, will dry in about 2 hours, and will not wash off after. When you step back and see your green grass compared to your neighbor's dull green yellowing grass, you will feel great! THere are other products out there but this one has an authentic look. If its good enough for golf courses like Augusta, its good enough for my grass. Be the envy of your block. I put this stuff on when no one notices....at night....light enough to see but dark enough so people think you spraying week killer with a pump sprayer. Come the morning, green grass will be there to admire.

This is a good product, It took about twice as much as the directions say to get the affect I wanted, one heavy coat and then a 2nd pass hitting only spots that were light. This job is best done with a back pack strayer, its to much for a hand pump unit. Use cardboard or drops on your sidewalks and driveways, it will stain them, also, plan on old shoes, shirt, pants & socks, it gets everywhere. I painted on 2 year old Bermuda grass that was in top condition, I am in NW AR and did this in Nov. and my grass was about 90 brown/dormant. I did my last mowing & edging just before spraying it. Respectfully.......the best looking grass & yard in my area. ***AFTER HAVING IS PRODUCT DOWN FOR 2.5 MONTHS, GREEN STILL COMES OFF THE GRASS ON OUR SHOES, DOGS FEET AND ANYTHING THAT COMES IN CONTACT WITH IT. IT DOES NOT TOTALLY EVER DRY. BEWARE!!!***

I can't say enough good things about this product and I will be using it over the years to come. it worked very well to cover my browning lawn over the summer and has lasted over about 4 months. It comes concentrated so you just dilute it with water as instructed. You then use it with a pressure sprayer to cover your lawn. I used a cardboard box to cover the pavement so that I could get to the edges of my lawn. Overall it was a little bit of work for a nice result.

UPDATE 2: (Feb. 13, 2021) I will update my rating and add photos in two weeks - after I retry and compare their two paints. --------------------- UPDATE 1: (Feb. 12, 2021). Customer service was VERY HELPFUL and is sending me two containers free of charge. I might have gotten a bad batch or such. They say that never happens. Either way dormant (light yellow) grass might require 4 times the amount versus non-dormant grasses if using their perennial rye type. --------------------- Feb. 11, 2021 MAIN COMPLAINT: It looked REALLY GREAT immediately after I sprayed it. But the paint's color seemed to disappear about 24 hours later. Confused, I frustratingly sprayed it again. So that is two layers of this stuff now. (32 fl oz/gallon). 48 hours later and it still looks super faded and I still see the dead white/light green grass. I don't know what to say. Is the dead grass absorbing all the color?! It shouldn't do that. I live in Northeast Florida and have various dead and bad rye grasses. For me this product is like the disappearing ink you bought as a kid. Very upset. It DID NOT rain any day and I sprayed it around 5 PM every day. SECOND COMPLAINT: A gallon only covered 2000 square feet (not 5,000-10,000 sq ft as advertised) for me when using 16 fl oz per gallon with a quality sprayer. I used a measuring cup and big plastic red cup to measure. 3 days later, the lawn still looks like only 20% of what it looks like immediately after you spray it. Photos to come when I get a chance.
