Got my chair today and am really happy about this chair. I couldn't wait to write a review. Very well made, upholstery stitches very well done, all parts (mostly plastic) smooth and strong. This chair looks and feels like it is much more expensive. It is heavy and fairly large. 19 inches between the arm rest and also front to back of seat. Height from floor to top of seat adjust from 18 to 21 inches. Nicely padded and very comfortable. The arm rest are also well padded. Wide spread on the feet and very sturdy. The tension knob for controlling the rocking doesn't seem to do very much but it does affect the motion a little. I got it for my sdr listening/man cave radio room, so I needed it to be comfortable. I don't mind at all that is is good looking and matched my table. Very easy to assemble and comes with everything you need to put it together. They even threw in a couple of extra bolts. Instructions are very well written with clear photos of all assembly steps. Made in China and very well made. I really am impressed, China products are getting better and better. ... show more

I am very happy with this mesh office chair. I’ve been using an expensive Herman-Miller mesh chair for the last 15-years or so, and I ordered this chair to add to my other office. Is this chair as good as that one? No, but for the price-point it is definitely close enough. The armrests aren’t as thickly padded as my old chair, and they are one inch shorter in length than my old one, as well as having half-an-inch less width than my old one, but they do pivot in or out. The armrests also move up and down if need be. I am 5’8” and 150lbs, and I keep all the settings at the closest settings except for the armrests, which I prefer at the highest setting. It's hard to find chairs like this one at this price-point, with a plain mesh seat, and plain mesh throughout, which I prefer. Mesh seats breathe so much better and don’t gather dust and debris like cushioned ones, and you don’t have to worry about spills. The base of the seat is at 18-inches off the floor at its lowest setting and rises to a nice 22-inches at the highest setting. The seat is approximately 19.5-inches wide and 19.5-inches deep, but the depth is hindered by the backrest, so really I find I only sit on about 15-inches of it, which is more than adequate for someone of my size. If you’re handy, assembly is pretty straightforward. Instead of using the supplied Allen wrench, I just used a ratchet wrench with extension and a 5mm hex bit, which made assembly quick and a breeze. The tilt knob works great so that you can lean back with just the right amount of tension, or you can disable the lean-back function altogether. I also really like the lumbar support, although that feature is not adjustable. The headrest is what helps make this chair shine; I don’t have a headrest on my old chair, and I find this feature so worthwhile now that I have experienced it. The headrest can be raised or lowered just like the headrest on an automotive seat, and it self-adjusts and pivots to fit the shape of the back of your head. Are there any cons to this chair. Well, I’d say I have a few nitpicks, but they are nothing worth deducting a star over. The color of the chair I ordered was indicated as grey, but really, it’s black with a white weave, so from a distance it looks grey, but up close it looks black and white (it appears this is also being offered in ink blue, which probably really is a solid blue). The armrests feel a little too far forward for me at their most rearward setting and I wish they extended back another inch. The caster wheels are a smaller diameter than on my old chair and I added the larger ones from my old chair that are in the pictures. Lastly, if I sit just a certain way with a little slouch, I can feel the bracket behind the lumbar cushion that holds it in place. But again, these are just minor nitpicks and I don’t think they would detract enough from the chair to sway me from ordering it again if I needed another one. ... show more

I received my new chair yesterday and put it together without any problem in a little less than an hour. I did not need any additional tools besides the screws and Allen wrench that come with the chair. It is the first time I have used a mesh office chair so I was not too sure about it, but now that I have it I like it. I find it to be comfortable. It comes with armrests, but I chose not to attach mine just yet, because I am accustomed to working in the office without any. I can always attach them anytime in the future. I chose the grey color and it looks really good in my office. The fact that it is a mesh fabric give it a kind of light, breathable appearance which I prefer to a heavier-looking chair. I truly appreciate the lumbar support that it provides my back and the headrest which helps me to maintain the proper posture while at work. It is designed to fit the natural curvature of the spine. The reclining function is designed to go from 90 degrees to about 117 degrees and is adjustable and can be locked in place. If you look closely, the controls below the seat have written instructions on them in case you forget how to use them. The chair can hold up to 300 pounds. At its highest level the seat of the chair is about 22 inches off the ground. ... show more

Assembly was straight forward and the chair is quite. The only Issue I have is how easily the hand rests twist in their axis. Otherwise the support to my lower back feels great.

I do a lot of work from home, and had a similar mesh style chair that I used for years. While I enjoyed it, there was no head rest. Not a big deal for quick sit down sessions, but after hours on end - start getting neck pain. There was also no lower back support. Unless I always stay mindful and sit straight up, I find myself slouching and have lower back pain in the evening. I saw this chair and thought I would try it out. So glad I did! Seriously a lifesaver. The headrest really helps with the neck soreness/pain, and the lower back support keeps my back proper at all times. And it is not an annoying back support, it gives your back a little "push" but not like leaning against a solid foam pad. The comfort is excellent. I feel so much better after a long day of work. The materials are also very solid. This is not a cheaply built chair. I see it lasting for years. The chair did not come assembled, but assembly was not bad. Give yourself enough room - I started in the living room and ended up going in the back yard to give me more room. The instructions were all very easy to understand and the bolts were all well labeled. It took me maybe half an hour to assemble. This chair is much less expensive than Chiropractor visits!
