The ice maker was first delivered with hidden shipper damage and was returned easily for credit. Replacement was ordered and received in good condition. Easy to install and get going. Dumps 55 full sized cubes every 11 minutes until bin is sensed full. Stainless steel exterior has a polished finish so don't expect it to match modern satin finished SS appliances. Installed mine in a storage room so finish is not an issue. Great icemaker for the delivered sale price ($424), but when emptying a completely full holding bin I am lucky to fill just over two 10-pound size ice bags. For the price, I'm not concerned and am very happy with it's first 2 week performance.

I have been through the ringer with these Chinese under cabinet ice makers. They vary wildly in price and quality. This unit is a winner! It's well made and was easy to install and get set up. Once I verified the drain was draining properly (always pour water slowly into your drain inside the unit to ensure your ice melt water will drain properly) I turned on the water supply and powered on the unit. This unit does have an on/off switch on the control panel which some of the cheaper units don't have. It's first batch of ice dropped in about 12 minutes. I allowed the unit to make a full bucket of ice which only took about 6 hours. (your mileage may vary depending on your ambient room temp and humidity). This unit is easy to operate, makes ice very quickly and the bucket is larger than some of the other units out there. Do not hesitate to buy this unit. Couldn't be more pleased considering all the trouble I have had with other ice makers being sold on Amazon.

Took over 30 mins to make ice, only made 4 sets of ice then prompted with an “E2” error code. Tried powering off/on error code remains. Instruction manual doesn't list an "E2" code. Order this in a pinch for an event and ended up having to go buy ice.

Setup easy and makes a ton of ice quickly. However, like another reviewer, the plastic taste on all the ice is overpowering. I have ran 5 bins of ice thru and still. Cannot use it for a drink. Works great for the cooler, but we need the ice maker for more than that. Even ran a bottle of vinegar thru. If I put a cup under the water flow and smell it...it smells like plastic. How do we get rid of this? I just replaced the old ice maker and everything was fine on that...so this is definately coming from inside the ice maker
