Purchased this for large family get togethers and everyone loves it. The factory settings were perfect and no adjustments were needed. We decided to use it at our granddaughter's wedding reception dinner. One of the puffing tube O rings broke on first disassembly and cleaning. It came with some spares, but I wanted to make sure everything went smoothly at the reception dinner so I contacted the factory about buying more O rings and explained why. They responded promptly and sent me spare parts at no charge. Great customer service. We had the wedding and after the reception dinner, the machine had a line of people and it dispensed 48 times that evening and we never had to wait for it to catch up. I used 2 1/2 gallons of pre-made 4% fat soft serve mix for 48 servings. Everyone loved it and the topping bar we had set up. This is a great machine and I am glad I bought it. Makes fabulous soft serve ice cream in the perfect texture!!! 🍦 I bought this machine, so I could have ice cream whenever I wanted, without having to drive and wait in line. I also wanted to make a protein ice cream as a better alternative to a daily protein shake. However, this is a machine that you make a whole batch at a time, and freeze the extras. You do need to disassemble the parts to clean after each use, and thankfully the parts are relatively easy to break down. You do have to make a certain amount at a time, so if you just want one cone, you will need to freeze the extras. My fantasy of having an ice cream machine to use at will, is more of a project, if I get the craving for some ice cream, but it’s still exciting to make soft serve at home. I freeze the extras and they do okay for a week or two. You can make ice cream out of just about anything. I have made dairy free protein ice cream with collagen powder and creatine powder, old fashioned custard, low-calorie water based ice cream, etc. The less fat, the more the texture becomes crystallized and takes on the homemade texture, vs the creamier texture, which the crystallized texture is my personal favorite. The vanilla Frostline ice cream powder mix is the best! You can mix with water and/or your milk of choice, and use less or more powder to get your desired sweetness. 10/17/23: For a machine that is still under its one-year warranty, I am quite disappointed that the company honored none of it. They wanted to charge me $60 to replace three disintegrated feet holding the machine up, so I instead ordered replacement rubber feet. During installation, I found that oil, most likely compressor oil, had sprayed all over the interior of the machine. I don't know if this happened while I used it or if it was done at the factory, but I found no leaks when I ran the machine myself. This oil disintegrated the feet for the machine and on the interior the main base that supports the bottom fans for the machine, as well as the casing and attachments for the fans. The fans are no longer supported on the machine and flop around while running. Some of the damage, as well as the oil that was still dripping through the machine are in the attached pictures circled in red. The company has given me the runaround, plays the language barrier game, and refuses to answer my emails now inquiring what they plan to do to fix it under warranty. Why should I be surprised. In short, this experience/product wasn't worth it for me in the end, obviously. 9/8/2023: I've had this machine for maybe eight months now, and it still does an awesome job. Unfortunately, the feet that it stands on disintegrated and I know under stays up. Trying to contact the company now... Yes, the directions leave much to be desired, but that’s what YouTube is for. I always expect problems, putting together and using something like this at the beginning, but to my surprise, everything worked perfectly, and it was quite simple to set up. Highly recommended! I have tried other units and was very disappointed. I recieved one unit that had a drip at the front gasket. Customer service replaced the machine immediately. Seemed silly to me to replace a whole unit when all they needed was to send a new front handle/gasket. But oh well.....I am much happier with the new unit anyway. I have read that you can go to the manufacturer website and they have replacement parts but we had a party coming up so I did not even try that option. The unit itself - This unit starts making soft serve in just a few minutes within 5 minutes you can start serving and by 8 it is perfect. It is easy to clean and the override button really helps keep the mixing chamber from freezing up. It is easy to adjust the settings and the ice cream comes out perfect every time. I have used 3 different types of soft serve mix so far and all of them have worked with no issues. Cleaning cycle does require a large container to catch all of the flush water but overall it only takes about 10 minutes to do a thorough cleaning cycle. It ships in a very heavy (150#) wood mini pallet crate. You will need some tools and muscle to open it. (screwdriver/pliers something to lift the metal tabs). My only complaint is that when the holding tank (hopper) is empty all of the ice cream in the mixing area is stuck in there. So there is quite a bit of waste from that. ... show more

Purchased in July 2022, and we have used this machine for Sunday smoking/barbecuing days, which we invite everybody we know every Sunday during summer for barbecue and smoked deliciousness. 😋 The plastic feet and drip tray broke probably the third time we used it. However, the machine operation itself has been perfect. No problems with it working and producing a consistent product. I just make sure it gets flushed cleaned after every use, and it’s store safely in winter. For $1,200, in my opinion, this is a total steal. *Note: The cone counter also does not seem to record every cone dispensed, and it’s been that way since Day 1. We suspect the handle has to be pulled down for a certain length of time for it to record another. I’m certain more than 5X the current cone counter should have been recorded. ... show more

We love this ice cream machine and have used it several times. It is a huge hit for family get togethers. Only thing that has gone wrong is the O-rings have to be replaced more frequent than I was planning on.
