Features

  • FAST AND SAFE COOKING:This 1800W (120V/15A) commercial induction cooktop features upgraded 2nd-generation technology, offering rapid heating with a full-power mode and low-power warming. Its 18-hour timer is ideal for slow cooking or simmering, and it heats faster than traditional burners or stoves. For safety, it auto-shuts off when overheating and displays an E1 error if cookware is removed, resuming operation once replaced.
  • EVEN HEATING AT ALL POWER LEVELS Unlike other induction cookers that use pulsing or cycling at lower power levels, the Abangdun induction hot plate provides continuous, even heating at all power settings. This eliminates temperature fluctuations, ensuring stable cooking results every time. Equipped with a 9-inch large coil, it offers a larger heating area for faster cooking and more uniform heat distribution, making your cooking more efficient and precise.
  • ACTUAL HEAT GENERATING AREA: The 11-inch Schott ceramic glass surface is supported by a 1-2mm structure beneath the stainless steel housing, effectively preventing heavy pots from directly contacting the ceramic panel and causing damage. The effective heating area is determined by the diameter of the heating coil, which is 9 inches, providing a large and efficient heating surface.
  • ENSURE PROPER POT COMPATIBILITY Due to the unique working principle of the induction cooktop, please ensure that your pots are made of compatible materials (such as stainless steel, cast iron, carbon steel, enamel, and other induction-compatible materials). Also, make sure to place the pots on the heating area before turning on the induction burner.
  • DURABLE & EASY TO CLEAN: This commercial Countertop hot plate features a thickened stainless steel construction for enhanced durability and load-bearing capacity. Equipped with two fans and back air ducts, it ensures quick heat dissipation. With no open flame or heating elements, food wont burn on the glass surface, making it easy to clean with just a damp towel. Additionally, it produces no open flame or harmful emissions, providing a safer and cleaner cooking environment.

  • Very nice Induction hob
Style: 1800W/120V
First off I bought this as a "used but like new" unit and paid $127 for it. It came in filthy like someone had really used it alot more than once, but i took some cleaner to it and stainless polish and it looked really good in 30 seconds. Someone had clearly dropped it on its left front corner and dented it in. This of course has nothing to do with what should be a brand new never used one. As far as how it works, so far excellent. It has a large 9.25" coil so instead of like most Induction hobs that have a 4 or at most 6" coil this one heats up the entire bottom of up to a 12" cast iron skillet which are usually about 10" on the bottom. heats up very evenly over the entire surface. It heats up very fast, much quicker than our 18,000 BTU gas stove. Puts out way less heat into the kitchen when cooking. Very simple operation, an On button, a button to switch from Temp to Watts which frankly is not needed just go by the watts, and a dial that quickly goes from 200w to 1800w. Its very easy to clean I keep a paper towel on top of it at all times so any spills just hit the towel and I will just toss it and replace. This unit also simmers nicely and continuously, it doesn't super heat at 1200+w for 1/2 second then off for a second or two then 1/2 second full blast, this is just a nice even and continuous heat at exactly the power you need. You can turn it to 1800w to get a pot of water to boil quickly then as soon as it starts to boil you can turn the dial down to 1100w and it instantly lowers the boil right down to exactly where you want it. There are only two things that I do not like about it, one is there is no way to actually turn it off which is kind of insane. If you leave it plugged in then the power button just flashes red and the LED panel just shows 4 red lines across it so basically you have to physically unplug it. That's ridiculous so i bought a plug with switch on it so i can just shut it off with the flick of a switch at the plug. problem solved but still pretty stupid. Next is it has an obnoxiously loud beep for every button push and every click of the dial, it doesn't need ANY sound at all, zero reason for it, and it is excessively loud. after a few months I may just open it up and see if I can find that beeper and disconnect it. So other than those two minor annoyances it is much better than any of the other hobs on Amazon that are under $1500. ... show more

  • You will love it if you want heavy duty!!!
Style: 1800W/120V
I purchased this commercial-grade countertop radiant burner primarily to use with a Presto pressure cooker that is rated for radiant cooktops, and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. The burner heats evenly, maintains a steady temperature, and has no trouble bringing the pressure cooker up to pressure. Once pressure is reached, it holds the setting consistently without the constant fluctuations I’ve experienced with some cheaper portable cooktops. The unit feels solidly built and truly commercial-grade. It operates quietly enough, although the fan noise is noticeable and probably necessary for cooling, cleans up easily, and provides plenty of power for everyday cooking as well as pressure canning and pressure cooking applications. I was initially hoping it would work well with my Presto pressure cooker, but it exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a reliable countertop radiant burner that can handle heavier cookware and deliver consistent heat, I would definitely recommend this model. ... show more

  • Only provides a fraction of the advertised power
Style: 1800W/120V
I had high hopes for this cooktop. It’s advertised as having a 9 inch coil, which is a rarity yet essential for cooking with a large pan. It does seem to have a large coil, but there is a fundamental problem: it doesn’t provide the power that it’s supposed to. This cooktop, like pretty much all good induction cooktops, is supposed to be 1800 Watts. But when I noticed that water was taking forever to boil, I plugged it into my watt meter. And, sure enough, it was only drawing about 1100 Watts. I’ve tried every pan I have (large and small, carbon steel, cast iron, and clad) with similar results. With that little power, it’s going to take much longer to get your pan up to temperature. In fact, it’s basically useless for the large pans that this cooktop is supposed to be used with. I’m an electrical engineer, so I’m especially disappointed that they managed to build a cooktop with a big coil (which is rare and more expensive) but whiffed on something so simple as providing enough power (usually cheap and easy). EDIT: A trick to get more power is to place something--like a potholder--between the cooktop and the pan. I've used this now for several months and it is reliable, so I added back an additional star. ... show more

  • Maybe the only induction burner under $1,000 that fully heats a 9" diameter pan!
Style: 1800W/120V
I'm very happy with this induction cooktop. It seems to be the only one selling for under $1,000 that has a true 9" diameter burner. With others you'll quickly find that you're only cooking on the inner 6" and run the risk of warping pans (as I did with 3) and wasting time pushing food to the center to cook. I love to use this outdoors year-round to cook items that could smell up the house, ie sausage, bacon, and seafood. It's great that you can set the cooking temperature. ... show more

  • Meh
Style: 1800W/120V
Doesn't boil water No matter the setting, water maintains a very low simmer (180*F). Tried 4 separate pots and pans, all of which are stainless AND induction compatible, still the same outcome. Will return.

  • Revised: Scratched as though used Revised: Scratched as though used
Style: 1800W/120V
Revised: The company support is excellent regarding the original purchase issues. I just used this for canning that requires large pots. The temperature control is fabulous. Not having to have a hot gas stove and exhaust fan running constantly was even a greater relief. I can't wait to steam a pot of corn outside! I learned that being able to adjust the wattage can allow flexibility in operating on lower wattage circuit or even a generator/inverter. I would use this in my RV! I unwrapped this unit and found the stainless trim all full of scratch marks and stained as pictured. I don't believe this is how a new unit should be delivered so I assume I was sent a "used" item for the full sale price. Quality control is zip. At least in the handling and packaging. ... show more

  • Doesn't work with many regular size pans.
Style: 1800W/120V
I've been using this for a month. My wife said she had trouble getting it to work but it was working for me, so I figured she was doing something wrong. Then I figured out that I was using bigger pans. Turns out our medium sized (11") cast iron skillet would not work, But our 11" deep wall will. My takeaway is that this is for a restaurant where you have LARGE pots and pans. I've been using induction cooking for 30 years and have a Bosch cooktop that I love. We've recently forayed into portable induction. I haven't found a high quality one that works flexibly on different size cookware and different heat settings. The search continues... ... show more

  • Solid Performer, heats a large pan evenly
Style: 1800W/120V
I bought this because it seems heavy duty and I liked the simple controls. It also has a larger magnet than most.. My cheapie would heat only the center of my 12 inch iron skillet. This heats the entire skillet. I was hoping it would also heat my coffee pot more quickly, but at least in my experience that hasn't been the case. It's fairly bulky, but I knew that going in. So far no complaints. It's easy to use, and it gets the job done. ... show more
