Do not buy this from Amazon. Go to your local, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. and just buy them there. The pack that I received had strips that would constantly go to waste. When I would pull the back paper to expose the adhesive to the strip, the adhesive material would come off with the back paper. This made the strip completely useless and I would constantly have to start with a new one. This happened with over half of the strips in the pack. I have bought these before from a local store, and they worked perfectly. The back paper would come off smoothly and the strip would stick perfectly. I did not have the same experience with the ones that I bought here on Amazon. I bought this pack from Amazon because it came with more strips in the pack than what I could find in store. I attached a photo to show how the back paper does not come off smoothly and how the adhesive would peel off with the back paper. I had to throw both of those strips away. What a waste of money.

I have been using command strips for YEARS and they have always performed great in the past. I moved to a new apartment recently so bought four packs of 14 pair large strips. However, when I tried to use the ones I received from amazon, I noticed that peeling to reveal the adhesive was a lot more difficult than the other large strips(which I had a few left), and when I did manage to peel it off, the adhesive was kind of wrinkly. I decided to ignore this and use them anyway. But after trying to use a few more, peeling off the adhesive would not work at all, with paper being still stuck on half the strip (left one in the photo) or the strip completely disintegrating from trying to peel off the adhesive. I am not sure what went wrong with the batch I received -- maybe they have been sitting around too long or been exposed to bad conditions -- but when I checked the reviews other reviewers have said the same. Either way I will be returning all four of my packs back to amazon and repurchasing from Target.

These are NOT official 3M Command strips, but some knock-off brand. Pulling the cover off the adhesive tape is nearly impossible, and when you do get it off, it starts to pull off and stretch the part that you remove from the wall after you're done with whatever. I tried putting a set on each corner of a fairly light frame, and wasted nearly double the amount because I couldn't get the covering off, and pulled the adhesive part which I knew wouldn't hold the item on the wall. I'm expecting these to fall off the wall given the reviews I should have read before buying these.

I have used command velcro strips for years---absolutely love them. Bought these bc I was running low, and I can say with 100% assurance--these are NOT the real deal. They won't stick for any length of time, no matter how light (or heavy) the item in question is. Within hours, my items have come crashing to the ground. It's infuriating that there are so many fake products on Amazon now, but buyer beware. I'll continue buying these at my local big box or grocery store.

This product was awful...when I tried to peel off the protective strip to exposed the adhesive the adhesive came off with the protective strip. It was a few weeks between the time I received the product and I used it. It wasn't just one bad strip in the package but all the strips had the same issue. What made it worse was that I intended to use these on a project I needed for the following day...it was later in the evening so I did not have an option of shopping locally to replace the defective products. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I was super careful to follow the instructions, because these aren’t that cheap and I didn’t want to mess up and waste any. I was amazed at how difficult it was to peel the liners off from the adhesive, and how badly they came off - they pulled a lot of the adhesive off too! I tried using them anyway, and so far my pictures are staying up okay (they’re much lighter than the max weight), but I imagine the strips can hold less weight with less adhesive. There are parts of each strip with no adhesive left, and also places where the adhesive peeled away and then got balled up or folded over, so sometimes I had to try to pull it away so the strip could lie flat. I expected better for the price.

I ordered these to finish up a gallery wall I have been working on. These were much larger than the ones I bought in the store, so I cut them in half and one was able to hand two 5x7 frames! Every photo in my home is hung with Command Strips as if removed properly, they won't ruin the wall. Just make sure the wall is not freshly painted. If it is, this will take your paint right off. Make sure the paint has had time to cure. I have never had an issue with a photo frame falling off the wall. If it is a larger photo or picture, I use two. They really are so easy to use and make gallery walls a breeze! Photo attached: All were hung with command strips, even the mirror!

I am not sure what was up with these but they would stick to nothing. I have used ones that I have bought in the store and had no problem, most everything in my house is hung with the command velcro. I will buy them from the store, not sure if these were are the genuine command brand because they came in a baggie with no back board.
