Very nice looking material and boy, does it stick well! The only thing that would really be nice is if they included a templating sheet. It was difficult to configure this and then cut it to look professional, but I got it done. Not perfect, but functional and looks good if you don't look too close! The color is nice and it really isn't hard to clean. I installed it for safety on the back swim platform, as the original fiberglas is very slick when wet (imagine that!). And, our dog uses the platform for a launching point, and it is holding up well. 100 lb lab, so that's quite an accomplishment. We think the price was fair for what we got, too.

Not much instruction with the EVA Foam pad, but watching YouTube video I found that making a template(s) for each area is necessary. I used light white craft paper to build the templates, traced them onto the foam and cut them out with shears. Easy. Taking off the backing paper and applying the pad was straightforward too. Adheres well, looks great. I would do this again.

For added assurance I used this in conjunction with 3M 77. I roughed up some starboard and then applied it. Use a roller to apply pressure. The back is peel and is very sticky. Do not peel the entire sheet at once. Get the front started and then work your way back slowly, the 3M spray will not stick to the adhesive sheet that you have to peel off but once you peel it off it’s not moving.

As others have said, it doesn't stick very well, even on new gelcoat, and the edge must be trimmed if you want the diagonal lines to match up when you seam 2 pieces together. It will easily scuff if you drag something across it and dirt doesn't come off with soap and water.

I'd add photos, but it's not working...the diamonds are not the same size between rolls; so trying to splice rolls together is impossible. Additionally, there is so much waste in even trying to splice together that it's not worth the price since extra material would be required to account for the excess cut off to come close to successfully matching pieces. Would absolutely not order again for covering a surface larger than the width of a single roll. It's advertised for boats but I absolutely do not recommend for it. While application is easy, beware for even small surfaces that the material frays where cut so don't expect the smoothest edges.
