This is a very clear, shiny, polish base. I do not see any evidence of yellowing and it has stayed on my nails for several days. It seems to have decreased the amount of splitting and breaking my nails are suffering from. The polish base goes on smoothly and easily. It is light and adds a thin coat of protectant to my nails. Between this base coat and Hard as Hoof lotion, I've been able to grow natural nails for a few years now, where I couldn't at any point before. I work a job where I wear nitrile gloves several hours a day (sweat causing polish adhesion issues) and am pretty hard on my hands in general.
