  • Foldable ladder.
Much lighter than I expected, but very sturdy. Easy to set up and well made. We haven't used it, but will be great when our grands are here, and for me also.

  • Easy to assemble, lightweight, and very sturdy, flexible for multiple configurations.
I don't have anything bad to say about this ladder, quite the opposite, especially when it's priced so much lower than the competition. I was surprised to not find a single thing I was disappointed with. Definitely a good buy and would buy again in a heartbeat if I ever need another strong and flexible ladder. ... show more

  • So much easier than you'd think to handle carry & use
A friend had one of these ladders and let me borrow it for a few days to do some house work, and I loved it. So many variations and much more useful than a standard A-ladder, or even just a normal stand-up ladder. I've always wanted one since and now have one. Come Spring this will be used a LOT! Not heavy at all, and more easier to carry one- or two-handed than you'd think! Will update once it's actually used! UPDATE: Now had this ladder for a few years, and since its purchase, it has been used each and every year since, and sometimes more than a few times! Not heavy at all; I am a slender 120lb guy and can carry this easily with just one hand. Once you get used to folding/unfolding it, you'll be so used to using it, and it goes into so many variations so quickly and easily! I think I've used it in all its possible configurations without ANY problem or sense of danger, as others have mentioned. Even my wife who weighs less than me, can use and carry this just as I have, and she never had any problems. It fits very easily inside a homemade and now stuffed 4x4 shed with ease. Unlike other safety or dangerous situations/conditions others have mentioned, I can honestly tell you THiS ladder is safe. I have been up to the last rung which isn't recommended, but I am ex-military and we do stupid unsafe things sometimes [often], so I did use it but not in any - for me - unsafe situations, but what others may balk at. The little diagrams showing all the different configurations, we have done all - really! It is so easy to use. Easy to fold. Easy to carry and remember, we are skinny people and not over 120lbs! Really! When using in its scaffold inverted wide U configuration, I wish I had purchased the boards to place between the rungs, but not really needed. A very versatile home tool NoBody should be without. This does so many things that a straight up/down ladder canNOT do. All you need to do is have a two-person situation, so one is on the ladder and the other on the ground not necessarily holding the ladder; I ask my wife to put her foot on one at the base of the legs, just to keep it level and keeping it immobile. This one ladder does all of the diagram configurations and more! This will be the ONLY ladder you'll ever need and use in your Life, and is a ladder to hand down to your kids.... NOT your friends or neighbors cuz they will/may never return it. On second thought: not your kids either. It takes not even a minute to change the ladder to any other configuration, and each change requires pulling a locking lever at each of its joints to change. Just remember it needs to be done for each of its joints. IF you don't release those safety levers to change it, you won't be able to change it at all, nor to even fold it up. It's a safety switch built into this folding ladder, and very effective. Buy it. You'll be glad you did. It is safe. It is strong. It will be the only ladder you'll ever need. You'll throw away your old ladder. I've never had a ladder like this before BUT as mentioned, used a friends' and loved it. Am soooo very happy I did get it. Recently got a drone for aerial photography, and though have used it to check out the condition of my roof, it's now replaced this ladder since flying the drone for two minutes and bam! Already done looking at my roof! I'll add some pixs in the future..... ... show more

  • Love this ladder!
I have several outdoor tasks to tend to (cleaning gutters, painting the house exterior, etc.), and I needed a tall ladder that could be stored easily. I've spent several hours on my ladder now and I simply love it! My only difficulty is getting the locks to slide so that the ladder can be folded/unfolded, but I've solved that problem by using the claw of a hammer and pulling the lock towards me. ... show more

  • 18 months later, in good shape and worth the price.
This has come in handy many times and is good shape a year and a half later. Travels nicely in my small car and not too unmanageable to carry. Worth the price paid.

  • An awesome ladder for your home!
I bought this after seeing ridiculous prices for even plastic based ladders. 119 bucks was irritating to me, but getting a roofer to fix a leak would have cost a lot more. This thing is great! I've used it inside and outside since. Speaking of outside, I left it fully standing on my home through the past winter. Still folds and unfolds great after 5 months of use and about 2 of the elements. ... show more

  • BUYER BE WARE: CHEAP LADDER THAT'S DIRTY AND UNSAFE FOR USER STRAIGHT OUT OF PACKAGE!!
Review for 12.5 FT ladder: BOTTOM LINE: CHEAP, CHINESE-MADE, ALL ALUMINUM DIRTY LADDER THAT IS UNSAFE FOR USERS STRAIGHT OUT OF PACKAGE!!! Also worth noting, inside rung width of <12 inches may not be comfortable for large users. Comes mostly assembled. IF you're able and willing to perform some QA work yourself the manufacturer neglects to do THEN would feel like safe, sturdy ladder. If not, then DO NOT buy or you will be injured! Also, no scaffolding mode planks mentioned by some reviewers were provided. Possibly review mixing by Amzn for longer version? It was cheapest versatile ladder on Amzn so wasn't expecting "top of line." But wasn't expecting dirty ladder that was going to cut up my fingers and knuckles and leave tons of embedded metal flakes in my hands just trying to use it the 1st time! 1st Complaint: DO NOT OPEN PACKAGING INSIDE YOUR HOME. The ladder / packaging is covered with metal flakes. Not a couple here and there. More like glitter bag quantity! Had HORRIBLE mess to clean up in living room after opening package inside. Having done some machining myself, it looks like they did the machining to assemble and left dirty. Then sprayed some type of light oil (like WD40) over it all. Most likely to keep from tarnishing and be nice and shiny. However, what that means to you, the consumer, is they knew rubbing metal on metal would cause metal slivers and instead of using air gun for about 30 secs to blow off these flakes, they didn't care about quality or user comfort and intentionally spray trapped it on the ladder leaving you with grimy mess. So even after rubbing it down with both paper and cloth towels, it still gets all over my hands and clothes and then sticks. And yes these flakes are large enough to work their way into your skin as your working up and down the ladder. 2nd Complaint: CHECK LADDER FOR SAFTETY BEFORE YOU LET ANYONE ELSE USE IT!!! Straight out of package it was obvious it left assembly line without ANY type of Quality Assurance check to see if it had anything dangerous to consumers. Inside of rung area are pop rivets that were never cleaned up after machined together on the assembly line. This left them with metal burs / tails that act like razor blades and hooks where you have no choice but to move and slide your hands. Each pivot point in ladder that makes able to convert into different shapes has x2 ratcheting joints on each side of ladder. Total there are x3 pivoting sections for x6 joints. Each joint has x4 punch rivets above and below it to attach to the longer rung sections for x8 each joint. So x8 rivets times x6 joints = 48 rivets. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE WERE LEFT UNCLEANED AFTER MACHINING!! Why you care is that when ladder is folded these rivet areas are less than 1-2 inches away from each other. And lever to unlock joints to open them is less than 1 inch way from closest rivets for that joint. So you can see the problem with trying to hold ladder and moving joint lock releases. And why I now have cuts across my knuckles and fingers just trying to open it for 1st time! There is ZERO warranty information in / on packaging (so basic doesn't even have manufacturer's name on it) so I wasn't about to try to chase down Chinese-based maker (from USA) for warranty work during pandemic supply issue times. So decided to see if could clean up myself with small, hand grinder. After about 30 min. was able to clean up metal burs / tails on all rivets so no longer cutting or snagging my skin. IF YOU'RE NOT ABLE OR WILLING TO DO THIS TO MAKE SAFE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS LADDER AS YOU WILL INJURE ANYONE USING THIS LADDER!! 3rd complaint: It is a smaller frame ladder that uses extended base feet to make more stable (approx. +5in on each side). Inside rung-to-rung width is approx. 11.5 inches. So with light weight of 24 lbs. would be perfect ladder for smaller folks. Maybe not so much for larger folks, especially if using as fully extended straight ladder and having to carry anything. Once I performed the Quality Assurance work the manufacturer should have done to make product both clean AND safe, the joints and rungs seem sturdy and secure. I have not stood on it in scaffolding config. But I'm about 210 lbs and sat on it without it giving way, bending or bowing in alarming manner. Ladder comes mostly fully assembled except for the x2 extended base legs. These fit on either side of furthest ends as bottom rungs and bolted down. There are plastic pieces inside these rung sections to mate with extender legs and guide bolts across. In 1 leg this piece was also broken and took some working with to pull back out of hollow leg to be able to bolt down properly. So if you need a cheap, small, light weight all-in-1 ladder you don't mind coming dirty and requiring some light metal clean up work to make safe...then this ladder might work for you?? ... show more
