I bought this for a birthday party. It's pretty much used all the time. I think there's a lot of features that my kids aren't aware how to operate like there was another model that you could push a button to switch the voices and I visually couldn't figure it out. but they don't even need it. they love the preset songs on there. One of the microphones didn't work as well as the other one, though which was odd. I thought it wasn't plugged in right but it just didn't produce as much volume as the other one did. for my 7 and 3 year old, though, they are happy with it. ... show more

I had bought the kids machine by VTech as a Christmas gift for my nephew he absolutely loves to sing and to play music loves to sing along with other songs so I had thought this would be the perfect gift the price was reasonable it records it has sound effects it has games it has lights it's really cool except one problem it says that you can easily connect it to your phone to have your own music to sing along to it even comes with the connector cord either I have a defective one or it does not work so my nephew and I were very disappointed about that we have tried several things and are yet to be able to get that function to work besides for that it comes with two mics it is very cool I'm just disappointed about the fact that he cannot sing to his own music ... show more

The best karaoke machine for kids! This was a last minute purchase for my 4 year old daughter but turned out to be her favorite gift she received! The disco light is bright and filled the entire playroom with changing colors! I mainly chose this product because it was one of the very few that offered 2 microphones. I like that there isn’t fighting over who gets a mic. The sound is very clear and loud with no feedback. There are so many controls to play around with and interactive songs and games shown through the screen which allow for a wide variety of play. My girls are pretty rough with their toys and the durability of this one is impressive. Hands down the go to toy to keep them busy and playing for hours! ... show more

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I do read them before I buy, and I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews on this product and bought something else for that price. I bought this as a birthday gift for my granddaughter, if she wasn't so in love with it I'd return it and get something else. It's cute, and the light show is a favorite feature with the kids. All features work fine. My first complaint is that the music volume is too low. When the kids sing their own voices drown out the music so that you can't hear it, and they can't hear it. The user guide said that the volume was low to protect kids ears, but you really can't hear the music over their voices, and then that feature that turns off the original singers voice is wasted. To work around we just stream her iPad to the TV and she can sing along with that. So basically this is a really expensive plastic mic with a few cool features. There are plenty of other karaoke machines and bluetooth mics for about the same price or cheaper, get one of those instead. My second complaint is the material. I knew it was plastic, and it's very light weight, but this feels like if it gets accidentally knocked over while they are dancing and carrying on it might crack or beak. The mics also feel very light-weight and cheap, and I question the durability of the toy. Third, the height is not really adjustable. It comes with three plastic tubes you can stack. So there are only 3 different heights and they are very different. As I said before, take your $60 and check out other products before settling on this one. ... show more

Our 3 year old Grandaughter loves this Karaoke Machine and so do her brothers and sister. Ages 3 thru 9 years old!!! It has some nice special effects on it like disco ball lights and some reverb through the Micrphone. Comes with 2 Micrphones! This is a well thought out little machine that provides hours of fun!!
