As a heavyset guy my desk chair is essential to my livelihood as I do a lot of work in front of a computer as well as in my shop. For this reason I go through a lot of chair wheels, and they need to be durable enough to handle someone of my size. These have been on my chair since the day they arrived six weeks ago, and have been doing an amazing job at sliding me across my tile floor and floor protector on top of my hardwood. The stems were of standard size and fit my chair perfectly from the get go, but the big difference in these is the fact that the wheel harness it's thicker and capable of handling the stress that I put on the chair tires. I was also very appreciative of the fact that these wheels came with ball bearings that were larger in size than any wheel that I had previously. So far we are rolling well!

Adding roller-blade wheels to your office chair is a game-changer if you spend a lot of time at a desk. Other people may not refer to them as roller-blade wheels, but it is what they remind me of. Over the years, I've used a few versions of these, and although I can't say I've observed any significant differences across them, I can tell that they slide really well. You won't want to return to the typical plastic wheels that come with most chairs after you feel the smooth movement, which is difficult to explain until you do. These wheels glide smoothly and leave no markings on hard surfaces like laminate, tile, or wood. These wheels remain far cleaner than conventional ones, which have a tendency to gather dirt and pet hair. Installation is simple by pulling the old wheels out and slide these in to complete the installation. Additionally, they feel solid and well-made, so I wouldn't be concerned about them breaking or cracking with time. There are some considerations to make. First off, depending on your desk height, these wheels may make a difference because they raise the chair a little. This might be something to think about if your chair is already at its highest setting. Additionally, although they perform well on the majority of carpets, I've heard that they can sink into chair mats or soft carpet, which can make movement less smooth in those situations. All things considered, you're losing out if you're still utilizing the stock wheels that came with your chair. Once you give these a try, you won't want to go back because they significantly improve your mobility.

I turned an inexpensive chair with standard plastic rollers into a smooth gliding and quiet rolling chair for my shop. This was such a huge improvement, like night and day. These were an easy quick install. I was contemplating replacing the entire chair but the large majority of chairs all come with the cheap plastic wheels. This was an economical option that made a huge improvement.

These are absolutely outstanding for "HARD SURFACES ONLY". I tried to use these with my chair on a carpeted floor with a chair mat and they truly don't work so well - let me explain! When using with a floor mat they tend to "sink in" and leave a divot that's difficult to roll out of. Now, with that said, if you are using these on a hard surface these rock. They roll super easy, they glide very well and I'd highly recommend these for hard surfaces. Overall a very fair price, they work wonders on hard surfaces and are of high quality.

This review is for "COMHOMA Office Chair Accessories Home Office Desk Chair Wheels" I wanted to replace the casters that came with the chair for something that were a touch taller and might roll better on the plastic floor mat I had to get to put on the carpet. These fit the bill nicely. Once I got the original casters out, these went in pretty easily (I did have to use a little force for a couple of 'em, but I made sure to use a rubber mallet and just enough force without going overboard). They've made a huge difference for me, and I dig 'em.

The wheels that came with my chair are ok, but don't make it easy to move my chair on carpet. These are great and they roll so smooth and with ease. I will say they are about an inch or a little more taller than my original wheels, so short people keep that in mind. Other than that these are great.
