As a toaster it works well. I have found that in order to toast both sides evenly I need to flip the slice over about half way through the cooking. And I have to adjust the cooking time depending on what i am toasting — plain bread toasts a lot quicker than English muffins, and you have to watch them and learn timing, don't go by what the instructions say. Two cons: First, the tray cannot be adjusted for height, which means toast is about all it's good for. Second, the instructions mention buttons and features not found in this device. Had it for a while now and it works great, wish I had a bottom shelf. Only complaint is it’s takes awhile for things to cook but that’s ok. It’s easy to clean and light to carry. Very easy to use as well, My 10 year old sister knows how to use it better than me 😀

I got this toaster oven so I could make four slices of toast instead of two and for the compact size to fit on my counter. I didn’t need any bells and whistles like a lot of these products have and this fits my needs. The only issue I have is that the timer knob and the temperature knob are the same color (black) and it’s difficult to see when you’re setting the controls. For the price it is fantastic. I have a few issues with the spacing of the platforms but the rotisserie function works quite well and is great for turning out roasted chicken.
