The color "New Moon" is great and the fit is nice and loose to wear over warm jackets on my winter walks. I was worried the color would just look like a dirty light purple but it is actually a nice gray/lavender. not as dull as the photo but not too bright. I also ordered the "marigold" but it is a little too orange for me. Although it would be a good color choice to stay visible on dark or rainy days. I look better in mustard. The sizing is true I think. I got a larger size but I think a small or medium would fit fine. I'm about 130lbs with big boobs. It's quite roomy but I like to be able to wear a thick fleece or puffer coat underneath if needed. The jacket stuffs into the pocket in case you didn't realize that. Also the hood stuffs into the collar. I love that because even when it is raining I don't always like to wear a hood as it limits my vision. Bought this jacket in pink after never purchasing anything in pink before. But once I got it, put it on, looked in the mirror, I found it really brightens my day and received lots of compliments!! Great fit other than the fact that if I wanted to wear a sweatshirt underneath I'd have to size up. Kept me dry during Alaska drizzle but it didn't keep me very warm even with a long sleeve shirt underneath.

I had a Columbia rain jacket years ago that I liked but felt too heavy. This jacket provides protection against the rain but is lightweight. (Great for summers!) I do think it's a little short (and I have a short torso).

Fits just a hair quick. Iโ€™m 5โ€™6โ€, 150 lbs. should have gone with a large to allow sweater underneath. Otherwise more of a slim fit. Not too bad. The water resistance is poor.
