Not quite the quality that I usually expect from Columbia. It has some weird bunching in the front. I looked it over thinking there must be a hidden drawstring in the center of the jacket, but I didn't find one. The jacket is long and tight. I definitely recommend ordering up in size. Love the velcro wristband so I can get the sizing right there. Love the level of warmth -- perfect for in between seasons, or as a light top layer in the winter. I really hesitated before buying this jacket because a lot of reviews mentioned that it was too long or too small, but I'm glad i did! I think that the jacket will suit tall women better. I'm 5f11, 155 pounds and the large size fits amazing ( i usually wear a medium , but i had to size up). I picked this up because my husband has the guy version and I liked it when I wore it in the rain. I had a ton of room in his, which was the same size. So much extra room, I planned on going down a couple of sizes. Thankfully, I read the reviews before ordering. I generally wear 1x to 2x in columbia items and am never uncomfortable. After reading reviews, I decided to order the 3x, but really wish it came in a 4x. The arms of this jacket are much smaller than the brands normal fit. They will be too tight if I wear anything thicker than t-shirt material. The shoulder area is also smaller. Even sizing up, it is almost uncomfortably tight. I wanted a lightweight, rain proof jacket to pack in my suitcase while traveling. What I got is an item that I will only use for rain during summer months. It's just too small. I'm 5'9'' and the length is good. Even the sleeves are a good length. I realize rain gear isn't generally stretchy, but if this had any stretch to it, I would like it more. This was more like a rain coat, so either I misunderstood the description or expected something heavier- the coat was very lightweight and fell just on my bottom, not below. I returned it.

The Columbia Women's Switchback Ii Lined Long Jacket is a nice jacket that will keep you warm on rainy days. It unfortunately is a little tight but can be zipped up. I wear a 24 in jeans so be aware that it might be a snug fit.
