As unapologetic as its name suggests, this waterproof jacket is your perfect rain companion. An attached, adjustable hood keeps you dry, while a back venting system makes sure you never overheat. The belt is removable for customization and style. This versatile rain coat is just as comfortable acting as an everyday windbreaker as it is a classic trench coat. Two zippered hand pockets keep items secure, while a two-way front zipper provides options. Offered in several stylish colors and sizes. Extended sizing available. Regular Fit. To ensure the size you choose is right, utilize our sizing chart and the following measurement instructions: For the sleeves, start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder and down to the sleeve. If you come up with a partial number, round up to the next even number. For the chest, measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.

  • Nice design and fit!
Color: Flint Grey Size: 1X
First of all, the color of the Flint Grey is accurate, but, it actually has a bit of a shimmer. I have actually worn it, and I can tell you, this is in no way shape or form a rain jacket. However, like most of my other windbreakers, it performs very well in a fog, mist, drizzle or sprinkle. But, to wear It in a downpour or even a light rain, I would definitely say, no, not if you want to remain dry for very long. This longer windbreaker is not lined, and for this reason, don't expect to be able to wear it in 50 degree windy weather without at least a longer sleeved garment underneath, unless you are going running or jogging. However, it will feel very comfortable on cool 65 degree foggy calm mornings with just a short sleeved tee or on 60 degree windy but sunny days with a short sleeved tee under it. The pockets are very deep and they zip securely and there is no inner pocket. It has a double zipper closure that makes it possible to unzip at the bottom. This feature can come in handy when you have to scale a mountain or shimmy up a tree. Because, the cut of this jacket is very true to size and NOT oversized, as is often the case, it may seem on the slim side. Just follow the directions for measuring your bust, waist and hips. Measure LOOSELY. Then, check the sizing chart for the size closest to your measurements. If your measurements fall in between, as in hips measuring 48", you should go with the 2X instead of a 1X, because the gap of 1" ( between 47 and 49 inches ), is for easement not sizing purposes. The arms are a longer length than in some jackets, but they are not excessively long. There is a Velcro cinch strip that will allow for adjustment. There is also a cinch strip on the back of the hood. This can come in handy if you have a tiny head, because it will allow the hood to sit back a little so your head won't disappear entirely into the inside of the hood. I firmly believe this is a true Columbia brand jacket and not a knockoff as some reviews have stated. So, if you want a great fitting, well made windbreaker that is becoming to all figure types, and one that you can take hiking or on your summer vacation in the mountains ( mountain evenings can get cool in summer ), or to pack for your winter vacation at the beach ( even southern beaches can be windy and cool in January ), this is the one to have. You will still have room in your suitcase for all those other incidentals and must haves you can't live without. ... show more

  • It will do
Color: Red Hibiscus Size: 3X
The coat wasn't what I expected it to be, but I'm sure it serves the purpose I was looking for something that had like a lining in it so when it's a little chilly it will still be okay. But all in all I like the coat.

  • Keeps you dry in the rain
Color: Light Lichen Size: Medium
This is the second raincoat I've had of this style. My first finally bit the dust this year after six years of hard use, so I bought another the same. Some thoughts: -It keeps me dry in heavy rainstorms. My old one I wore to a football game with a hurricane sitting off the coast, and kept me dry through an all day tailgate until the third quarter, when it was saturated. I haven't tested this one in such extreme conditions yet but it did fine in regular summer storms. -I love how lightweight it is, and that it's not lined. The back vent makes it comfortable in the heat of summer, and I sized up so that I can wear a fleece underneath if it's chilly. -My older one had a bit of a bill on the hood, which I was disappointed to find was not there on my new one. It was great for keeping the rain out of my face. -The zipper was difficult to get started on both this and my old one. I don't know why, and I've never had that problem on another Columbia jacket. All in all, great rain jacket if you want something that's lightweight. It's not the jacket for you if you want something that will also keep you warm. ... show more

  • Love able you adjust the hood
Color: Flint Grey Size: 2X
Found out there is a tab on the back of the hood where it can be adjusted. Not falling & covering while face now!

  • Buy it! Great for Big Hips!
Color: Bright Gold Size: 3X
I bought the yellow jacket in 3x. I have really big hips (55 inches) and it fit perfectly. I love that it has a tie around the waist to cinch that area in. The pockets are large and deep. I love that you can tighten the sleeves for a tighter fit when it's raining. It definitely keeps you dry. I also love that the hood has the ability to get tighter around the neck and the jacket can go up high on the neck for when it is raining hard. I also love how it's lightweight because I get hot fast! I wore this in the fall in the Olympic National Forest and it was perfect! One of the best buys of the year for me! This will definitely be my spring and fall jacket of choice. ... show more

  • A true rain jacket!
Color: Flint Grey Size: Large
The media could not be loaded. I’m taking this to Florida with the expectation of rain! It is a longer ‘parka cut’ rain jacket that will protect my bottom. I am 5’8” @149 female, usually wear 8/10 age 51…I order the large for room. I like that I can just use snaps for ease. It has the belt to dress it up a bit; this is removable…As you can see in the video clip..it is very resistant to water…which is what we’re really after. Thanks to Columbia I will stay dry if the storms arrive! ... show more

  • Great quality, style & fit
I bought this as a raincoat which could be used from casual dress to business casual. The jacket is lightweight and did keep me dry in the rain (not a downpour). I love the gray color and the styling. I am a petite and ordered an XS. The fit is great, but I only gave 4 stars due to the fact that the sleeves are really long! Fortunately, there is a velcro closure at the cuff for this, but I had to pull the velcro all the way over, so the "tabs" stick out a little more than I would like. I would still recommend this jacket! ... show more
