I purchased 3 ~ the platinum, blonde, and dark blonde. The dark blonde was completely broken inside and because it is a soft powder was everywhere inside the box. The other two arrived without issue. In my opinion, especially considering the expense for such a small amount of product and its consistency, it should be packaged in a pot style container. That way if it does break apart, at least it can be contained and saved. Packaged like an eyeshadow compact meant the broken pieces became dust. As for the other 2 colors I was able to use, I truly like this product. I ended up using one of my own eyeshadow brushes because the ones given were a tad too soft. But I understand that's to better control application amount. It did a great job giving coverage to the gray without being too obvious. I would have liked to have used the dark blonde around hairline, to see how the darker color worked. All in all I would say that beyond packaging, it is a great product. It is expensive for the amount of product, but you have control over the amount applied, and where it's applied. The compact has a mirror, but I can't imagine ever using it. I gave it a 3 star for the value because of such a small amount along with the potential breakage and complete loss of product. ... show more

I purchased the platinum color. It worked great to fill in my roots and line it up with existing highlights. I am not sure how long it will last though if you're one to touch your hair throughout the day.

My hair grows like weeds in rain. As a result I would need to use color every 3 weeks. I tried many products and did not like either the application or the color. Even though it looks dark when you look at the box it works well for my medium blond hair (no orange). Used it mainly along the main partition area. It would take a long time and patience to fully cover 1/3 of the head roots and probably most of the content and only till the first wash. Still it delivers and I will buy again. ... show more

It does the job like any other gray cover stuff does when you are lazy and don't dye your grays because you work as a nurse and just dont feel like it because you are tired and old now and don't care but kind of still do. Anyway....Your hair still feels kind of gross like the spray but you kind of look better. I like that I don't have to have circles because the spray takes off like a rocket then it takes 3 hours to rub off or you look like you are wearing a wig. The spray stuff is a nightmare sometimes. You do need to keep going over it. I tried it a little damp and it worked better. It's good for filling in your scalp a little with a ponytail or bun instead of eyeshadow too. Overall, I prefer this and would buy again. You get enough to probably last 5 years so it's worth the price. ... show more

I've tried so many products that would cover my grow out so I can extend the time before I need to color again. This product does that and does it without leaving your hair and scalp sticky or itchy. I have a money piece in the front, but need to color my grow out which after a few times ruins the blonde bang area.
