I liked the simplicity of a soaking tub , that after you are finished, you can rinse it and it stores away easily. Those that plug in to the walls are heavy when full , hard to store and the water can slosh out , when carrying to use or empty.

I wanted a Strucket mini for once-a-month-special-laundry needs, but the sticker shock was real. $36 is too much for a bucket! So instead I got this bucket for $15 and a little basket from Walmart on sale for ~$2. It just came in, so I haven't used it yet. But it looks like it will be perfect! If I have any issues, I will update. No update = everything is great! There are a bunch of the same bucket under different brands on Amazon. This one was the cheapest when I bought it, but check the other listings. If you want to do this, just check the dimensions of your basket to be sure it will fit inside the bucket. I have been using the tub for soaking my feet for about three weeks. It is lightweight and collapsing it saves space. The massage bumps are okay, but personally I do not prefer them. The product descriptions list the outside dimensions, which are for the top of the tub fully extended. I bought the tub hoping my feet would fit in the bottom portion and they do. For those with large feet the dimensions for the inside of the bottom section are; 12-3/4 inches long, 8-3/4 inches wide and 13-1/2 inches diagonally. The media could not be loaded. So I’ve been using this basin as a temporary solution in my home studio at the moment, but I also use it for travel clients and it’s wonderful. The plastic is kind of thick. I use a liner with it. The bottom of the tub feels amazing on your feet. I can fit like a size 13 mens foot. I love this. I have a few other collapsible silicone items in my house, and this one is just okay. It's handy to use as a basket or bucket, and is easy to store. It doesn't have any type of supports to help keep the tub from collapsing on accident though (if you put pressure on the edge of the tub, it has a tendency to collapse, since that's what it's designed to do). When you do want to collapse it, it doesn't fold up as easily as the other collapsible silicone items I have. So this tub isn't terrible, but it's not great either. ... show more
