I read through the reviews, looked at the photos, recoiled in disgust and then placed my order. I’ve had very calloused heels for years due to heavy running. It’s gross. I hated the way it looked and felt but didn’t really find good solutions. I’ve tried cracked heel balms that grease up the foot and put your life in peril as you try to walk around after, slipping and sliding everywhere (or ruining socks by covering the feet after greasing up). It was a temporary solution. I tried some sort of pumice thing and that barely did anything. Just seemed to make things worse. This arrived yesterday, I put on the coarse grinding wheel and started up the device. I will leave the details out of what everything looked like but the entire process was quick, painless, and dare I say it? Satisfying. My feet are practically brand new now. I don’t even recognize them, I feel things in my heels that I couldn’t even feel before. Touching them doesn’t feel like scrubbing a rock and socks do t get caught on skin. Ugghhh. I hate describing it. It’s disgusting and embarrassing, but the after results are phenomenal. I’m not sure how often I’ll need to use this device, but even if I only ever have to use it once, it was 100% worth the price! I have had this for about 14 months and I can tell you it works great. The shape is good to be able to get different angles and the three different grades of rollers helps to fine tune. It is nice that it is rechargeable as well, and of course the price is quite reasonable. I also find that in general the battery life is sufficient for at least one long session and probably more than that. The main downside with this product, and the reason for four stars instead of five, is that after a maybe 6-8 months (estimating) I think the motor starts wearing down from the constant friction. It doesn't seem to have the same power as it used to in the sense that when I press down with the same moderate pressure I always did sometimes the roller will stop. This will often necessitate turning it on and off again and restarting with a somewhat lighter pressure. It was not always like this and I suspect I need a new one. I will probably try a different brand to see if future ones do not have this same issue. All that being said, for the low price and important function it serves, there are worse things than buying a new one of these every year. And of course this issue could be less pronounced based on the frequency of use. I like to combine with the Dr. Scholl's healing balm. ... show more

After years of wearing no shoes, I’ve built up some rather thick calluses on bottom of my feet, to the point of having very little feeling left. I’ve tried pumice stones, files and soaks without much luck. For $25, its worth a shot. I wasn’t impressed at first, motor doesn’t appear very strong. But it does actually work quite well. I quickly realized that it will take many sessions to remove all my calluses. First attempt actually removed an impressive amount onto the towel. After a few sessions I was able to feel the cold tile floor again. Simple to use, not overly powerful but does the job. Definitely worth the $25 investment ... show more
