I am not a nail technician. This nail drill is easy to use. I was able to remove the acrylic from my nail without damaging the natural nail. As you can see, I cracked a nail along with my natural nail. It is easier to remove the acrylic with this nail drill and avoid smelling the soaking-off chemical or using clippers that will only damage the nail. ... show more

Straight out of the box, this e-file is beautiful. The color is a soft muted pink, all of the components (casings, holder for the hand piece, and the hand piece itself) are made of sturdy plastic. And the power cords for charging and powering the hand piece are durable with plenty of length. I've been using this file for about a month now. The settings are super easy to use...There's a dial to power the file on, with a digital display to let you know what RPM speed you're using. On the side of the main unit is a F/R push button to change the rotation direction, and a Pause button in case you need stop the file for whatever reason, but don't want to risk forgetting what direction you were using or what speed you were filing at. It's actually a feature that I'm surprised more brands don't incorporate into their e-files. The one thing I have issue with, is that the RPM speed will randomly increase or decrease while in use. I've had several occurrences of using the file at, say, 15K RPM and it will randomly change by 1 or 2K in either direction. These small jumps aren't a huge issue since it's still operating at a safe speed for the work I'm doing, but it could be problematic in other instances for another user. Overall, it's pretty similar to most other rechargeable e-files on the market ... show more
