I guess I didn’t pay close enough attention to the dimensions because this is much larger than I expected. I make my lunches at night so I can leave for work quickly and quietly in the morning. If you check out my picture, it would never fit in a normal fridge unless you don’t have much food and can keep a shelf clear for this (which I definitely can’t). Giving it five stars because I’m probably keeping it for weekend use with the family. But I’m buying the smaller 9 can version for my lunchbox. I’ll pack my lunch into the removable liner each night and put that plastic tub into the fridge. Just grab that and drop it into the insulated bag in the morning and I’ll be good for the day. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’m returning this because accurate internal dimensions are not given on the website. I plan on bringing my lunch in this cooler. I do meal prep as many people do. I want to save time by prepping my meal, then putting it into the refrigerator then putting it into the cooler. However, If I want to use this cooler I will have to purchase new Tupperware. I wish I had known that before purchasing. Amazon or Coleman needs to do a better job of posting both accurate internal and external dimensions, so that people know if the cooler will fit in to tight spaces (such as on the floor of my car’s passenger area, along with my work bag.) And, customers need to know if the internal portion (in this case , a plastic liner) will accommodate the current set of lunch size Tupperware/meal prep containers and reusable ice packs that we own. ... show more

Used this bag on a 5,000 miles cross country ride. Pros: 1. It was easy to secure to my bike and easy to access the contents while riding (had it on the passenger seat). 2. The inner plastic liner was a good design and keep the cooler in the proper shape. 3. I loved that little zippered pouch. Being I was on a motorcycle, every storage space is welcomed. Cons: Only problem is it did not do a good job of keeping the contents cold. I would fill it with ice in the morning before starting the ride in the mornings. Ice would be melted by noon. My drinks were not cold by were cool and for that it gets an okay rating. ... show more

I bought this for the purpose of a lunch box and cooler to bring by the pool/go fishing. It's perfect for both. My food for the day fits perfectly with the hard liner taken out. 6 beers with plenty of ice and s sandwich fit with the hard liner in.

We bought this for a road trip and it worked well for our needs. For a party of two it held enough snacks and drinks. I was really surprised at the amount of drinks it could hold (please see pic). I really like the separate hard plastic liner that comes with it. It made cleaning and trips to the ice machine easier. The portable size and shoulder strap make transporting it to in our car and carrying it to the room extremely convenient. I'm considering getting a couple more as gifts. ... show more

Ok, so there is a man in this home who can destroy a lunch pail in no time because he's in construction type work. He's carried the "igloo" hard side ice chests and they look disgusting after 1 month. I bought this with fear and trembling. SERIOUSLY I was going to get the 9 - can and decided to get this 16 instead. I AM SO GLAD I DID! This pail holds 1 sandwich in a "hard plastic sandwich container," 2 large gatorade size drinks, 2 small hard plastic snack cups and a slim ice pack along with 2 bags of lunch size chips! YEA! His glass case hands in the "netting" inside the pail. His work gloves and eye protection glasses stay on the top under the elastic cords that are attached to the pail. The two side pockets hold gum or items of similar size. The front zip pouch holds his iPhone and his large wallet. The "hard liner" inside removes easily for cleaning! He doesn't use it without the liner or it would not last 1 week. He's tough on them. However, at the end of each week we just rinse it out and wipe it down and voila good as new. He works around a lot of dirt and dust so I wipe down the outside with a damp cloth as well as rinsing out the liner! I will buy this again, because it is a great product and it will be completely worn out. Having said that, he's had it 3 months and it still looks better than his old "igloo" after a weeks use. Did I mention he's tough on pails? Bottom line. It's nicer looking, lighter, cleans up better, easy to carry with a shoulder strap, stays cool inside even in 100 degree weather and is holding up well! It's smaller than the hard ice chest type of lunch pails. Highly recommend it. ... show more
