I get up early when camping and love that this little teapot holds just the right amount of water for 3 of us. It’s light weight and just is perfect. I haven’t had any problems with it yet. I usually know the temperature is just perfect for my aeropress coffee press when little bubble start forming. The mesh storage bag is great to keep it hung up during the day when not in use. The kettle is really nice - lightweight, compact, well made. The lid is loose, but it hasn't been a problem so far. If you make the handle stand up during boiling, it'll stay cool enough to be picked up when ready - no problem. The only weird thing is when there isn't much water left in the kettle, it'll pool on one side of the kettle bottom and it'll hang tilted to one side when picked up by the handle. It's not a big deal, but it feels like it might spill, but it really doesn't. It's about 1 L to the level of the spout - really useful volume for 2 people. This kettle is a good size and quality material. The metal is just the right thickness and is a good value for money. There is no whistle for this kettle and it functions as it should. I am not sure of the quality over time since this item is still new to me, so I can't speak to the rust resistance. The kettle is large enough to make 2 cups of hot drinks and a packet of oatmeal. We used the kettle to heat up water for ☕️ in our teardrop's outdoor kitchen. Somehow, I was expecting it to whistle when it was ready, which it did not do. To overcome this, just listen for boiling sounds and look for the steam emanating from the spout. It holds enough for about two cups of ☕️. It worked just fine. The red fin and handle was not hot and it wasn't difficult to pour the water over our pour-over ☕️ filter. ... show more

Home: I need good coffee. Camping: I need good coffee. When camping I always boiled water for my Aeropress coffee in a regular old small sauce pot which took forever on my portable butane stove (at least 10 minutes). I just timed this at home and it took about 4 minutes. Pros: Fast boil Lightweight aluminum Small size (but can still fit on Gasone burner [pic]) Collapsible handle Silicone grips (shark fin!) Mesh storage bag 41 oz (1.2 L) - at least 4 servings Next day delivery Cons: Not 1.4 L due to the water level maxing at bottom of spout opening (if you read product description carefully it states the 1.2 L amount). So not really a con. Overall, love it. Can’t wait to use on next trip. Will revise this review if needed. ... show more

I really like the compact size of this kettle. Great for camping and just having enough water for some coffee. I use it with my Aeropress so I don't need a ton of water but it's also great for the dehydrated food and cup o' noodles for a quick snack. It hold a good amount of water but I am concerned that if I drop it if it will hold together. I guess that's the balance between being lightweight vs heavy gauge steel or something.
