I bought this to use when I go camping with my travel trailer. I don't run the fridge on propane while driving as I have extended daily drives around 10 hours at a time so I couldn't leave the items that need to stay cold in the fridge as they would spoil. This cooler did great at maintaining the ice that I started off with for four days and I am thrilled with that. The rope handles and ability to grab around each side of the cooler make lifting and carrying easy. The dual drain plugs work great to dump the water when you're done. I also like that the lid stays open unlike a Coleman unit that I have that won't stay open. I've not experience any leaking, always a plus! My only real gripe with this unit is that I wish that it came with storage baskets for the top that I had to buy separately. The ability to segregate your items and keep them dry up top is very handy. I used it to store lunch meats, cheeses and condiments to be able to easily pull the basket out and make lunch while at a rest area. Great cooler, holds ice very well for several days! The cooler is great quality, but remains lightweight, so I can easily move it around between my Jeep, Tahoe, or camper myself as a small framed woman. The color is stunning, I’ve already had compliments, even my dad wanted to snatch it up. It seals great so keeps the cold in! Great cooler. Held ice for six days on our last camping trip. The rope handles are great for a two person carry. This is a large cooler and can easily hold the advertised amount. We bought the green cooler with the tan ropes, and it is beautiful.

I bought the RTIC Ultra-Light 52-quart cooler (w/o wheels). I haven't used it yet, but based on close inspection and appearances, it is exactly what I expected and am so far pleased. The sage green color was on sale and we love it! As advertised, it is well-designed and the workmanship appears excellent. No errors detected. The double drains are a great idea. The screw in plugs are well seated and are attached. I have also bought the tray and the divider. One important selling point for me was that RTIC sells a good number of the replacement parts, so this cooler should last for years and survive any abuse we subject it to. Also, it was shipped directly from RTIC in Texas, and arrived well-packed and in excellent condition. We plan to use it during a road trip in August where I want the food to stay cool (no more than 40 degrees) for 2-3 days in the car (twice) without my having to spend hours each evening repacking the cooler and recharging the ice packs. I will be running a test in the coming weeks and will report my findings! ... show more

The item is perfect, but this seller is very difficult to deal with: I purchased this 52 qt. cooler and upon receiving it realized it was too small so I immediately went back on to my Amazon app and purchased the 65 qt. (which is also great). I then went through the return process only to find I had to pay $29.95 to return the 52 qt. I reached out to the seller to explain the situation & asked if they’d waive the fee as a customer courtesy and they refused. I had to pay the fee and sent it off. They sent notification once received telling me they were reviewing my return and would let me know once they decided on refunding my money or not. They’ve paid absolutely no attention to the fact that I not only bought another of their products but a more expensive one as well. I will not purchase anything from this seller again! ... show more

I love this color scheme and cooler! It’s perfect fit for what I do and with the custom ice divider it’s even better. Even though I love it the ice didn’t last as long as I would have liked. Handled work and are quality but I prefer a solid latch. Pricey but color and quality is worth it just wish it held ice longer but I’m a stickler. ... show more

The rope handles make it easy to carry. The two different size drain plugs on each end are great. This 52 quart cooler holds plenty of beverages and ice. The ice lasted for 3 days in the heat with us getting in and out of it alot in that time.
