So, I hesitated on purchasing this due to the small population of reviews. In the end, I went ahead and purchased it and got the three-year extended warranty just to be safe. In a word - “Formidable!” At the gym, I have fallen asleep in saunas. You won’t fall asleep in this puppy. My first time in it, I didn’t last 20 minutes. On my second attempt, I was able to go to 30 minutes, but required a full complement of hydration. You don’t need the instructions to set this up. It’s incredibly intuitive. Just be sure to - 1. Ensure that the water reservoir lid is tightly secured. 2. Make sure that the hose running from the water reservoir to the inlet on the sauna is as straight as possible. 3. When securing the steam hose to the sauna frame, push until you hear an audible snap. 4. Before entering. Ensure that the sauna box is completely zipped up and allow the steamer to run for 10 minutes (that will result in optimal heat from the start of your session). 5. Use the remote. It’s good value, especially if you’re in the middle of a work out, as you can start the steaming process 10 minutes before you finish your work out. 6. Give it a wipe down after every use. The steam generator is on a 45 minute timer (which I find is perfect). 10 minute warm up, then 35 minute steam. I stay in an extra 5 minutes after it stops to let me gradually get used to room temperature. UPDATE: 27-Nov-23 This sauna has now become a product of my after workout routine where I stretch and take in electrolytes. I recently purchased from (where else? as I'm an Amazon whore) this thermometer (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XTPTG1J?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) that measures both temperature and humidity. Positioned at the coolest side of the sauna at about head high (if you're sitting down) the temperature maxed out at 106.2 degrees Fahrenheit with a humidity of 90%. I haven't measured the temp and humidity at head level standing yet, but I know it's a hell of a lot hotter up there. I FREAKING LOVE THIS THING!! I will also be testing how hot this thing gets with different ambient temperatures. I think the ambient temperature for my last measurement was approximately 70F. But will follow up with more later as I want to know how the sauna behaves at different ambient temperatures. I've also observed (for what it's worth) that after it turns off, the temperature goes down at a rate of about 1 degree a minute. So if you stay in for ten minutes after your session, you'll be at normal body temperature in about 10 minutes. ... show more

Once the steamer heats up (about15 minutes) it is HOT! Two inconveniences, first when you may want to lower the steam temp with the remote, I had to exit the tent and secondly, I am 5'11" and I find the tent too small for sitting comfortably, knees are on the tent. I have to open the tent when I stand up to exit. Plan to purchase 2 person tent later and use this steamer machine because of its output of steam is very powerful! ... show more

This thing is awesome. Set up was fast and it's really effective. My first use I did level 9 for 20 min and the following day I pushed it to 25 min at level 9 after my workout and added eucalyptus oil to the herb box.

What a great buy. Very pleased with this buy. I put this together in about 10 minutes or less. I think it could be hotter but you still get your sweat on. I am '5-9' and I can stand up with no problem. The chair is very low for my height but I make it work. The only issue that I am having is with the steamer. It is probably me but I will be reaching out to customer service. I will update on how the service goes. ... show more

The structure itself is easy to put together, but there were no instructions on connecting the hoses from the steam unit to the tent and it isn't self-evident. I still don't know if I have it connected up right, but it seems to work. Otherwise, it is a decent unit for the money. The steamer unit isn't much more than a cheap plastic box (looks like a rice cooker) with a boiling pot inside and the plastic is a bit warped, so it doesn't all fit together well. But it works. This gets just a lot of bit warm to do the job! Setup is pretty easy and operation is easy as well. Didn't think it would heat up as good as a gym but glad to say I was proven wrong. It doesn't take up too much space unless you're in a small apartment or something with limited space. The chair was a little too small for my liking but I was able to use a bigger chair although still not that comfortable in such a small space. ... show more
