Excellent fire starter. It lights quick and easy, and burns for several minutes. They are basically compressed blocks of coffee grounds with a mild accelerant. They come packaged in an Altoids style tin. They’re a little bit messy in the tin, they leave some dust and particulate behind, so if you’re going to be putting them in a kit or camping box be advised. I like them but ultimately it’s hard to recommend them based on the price.

We really like this firestarter! Super easy to light, one match every time. Comes in a super handy tin, fits in pockets easily. Depending on usage you can get away with half of a cube or less to start a fire which means they will last a bit. They do smell pleasantly of coffee in the tin, but I'm not sure that you'd smell it while the fire is burning. Definitely will order more for camp kit, backyard bonfire and inside wood stove.

Bought these for my MIL who lives with us and always likes to have a fire going. Much easier to use a starter than kindling. These light quickly and burn hot and long enough to easily start a good roaring fire without too much work. May be one of the better starters we've tried. Even better it's made from recycled materials!

I was surprised that these little fire starter bricks were so easy to light, and that they smell so good. They burn for enough time to get your fire going quite well. They burn clean, and they recycle coffee grounds which is innovative. I will be buying more of these, and will be telling my camping buddies as well. I can recommend them.

Worked perfectly to start a backyard fire in the freezing cold. Smelled delicious in the tin, not so much while lighting the fire - not complaining, I'm fine with that. Stayed lit for a long time; probably only need a half of one of these bricks next time. I also really like and appreciate how small this tin is, super easy to take on a hiking trip, where portability and being lightweight is everything. One last note, I was making s'mores with my young grandsons, and I really like that this was all natural so I wasn't using any type of chemical to get the fire going.
