We recently started crating our dogs. They love it but I'm completely worried their crates aren't ... enough for them. I noticed that when they get out in the morning, they drink a lot. So, I thought maybe try this bottle. One dog took to it right away. The other, even with some peanut butter smeared on it, still hasn't gotten it. Not the bottle's fault LOL, just a note, becasuse I love my dogs and love talking about them. The bottles are sturdy, and have ball bearings inside the drinking tubes. The clips that you use to hang it off the crate are sturdy and it's a good thing because there are two sets and only one goes over. I feel like this is a design flaw because crates are pretty standard so they should have been able to work that out. I took off a star for that. Still, I feel like these are sturdy little water bottles, good for my furbabies crates. They were a good price and seem to be working as intended, at least for the one dog of mine who isn't a princess.

We bought this water bottle for our puppy's new crate. I wanted something that couldn't tip over or that would spill. She took to it within half an hour. I just hooked it to the outside of her crate and tapped the ball to show her how the water comes out. After she got used to it I moved the water bottle to inside her crate, it helped her get used to the crate faster. We have water bowls out for our cats but the only time I see our puppy using a water bowl anymore is when the bottle is empty. It does not leak and looks like it would fit any crate. I just ordered another one to use in the car.

If you have anything over the size of a Chi puppy these will need a LOT of refills. I only crate my dogs when sleeping or when away from home which isnt often and they are all less than 20lbs and have access to bowl water at all times when out. Still, DAILY they empty these. Maybe its the novelty of licking them? The fastner's are worthless, cheap and not sturdy and will NOT fit most any wire crate on the market. They will hang there with only 2 of the 4 prongs. If you have pups and the bottles are bumped off the ring that have the hanging part will FAST become chew toys and possibly injested as my one pup did overnight..its really cheap the way its done. I guess the company wants a vet bill lawsuit? The bottles themselves seem durable and dripless. But the hangers are ...cheap and not thought through. For that, as that is very important no matter if you are using a crate in the home, or for traveling (and I would NOT recommend these for travelling as they would fall off as soon as you went over the first small bump in the road) If you have a pup or young dog or chewer, know that the hangers WILL fall off, WILL be chewed and are such CHEAP PLASTIC are very likely to be injested. ONE STAR, wish I could give 0 for the way the hangers are. CHEAP EASILY BROKEN PLASTIC THAT YOUR DOGS WILL CHEW ON IF THEY FALL OFF, and very hard to get back on without breaking. WILL NOT LINE UP WITH ANY WIRE CRATE ON THE MARKET TO HANG in a sturdy fashion. TOO SMALL even for SMALL DOGS! DO NOT BUY...skip...do not make my mistake and look for something bigger and with better hangers.

Used this for an overseas move. It worked really well. It took a little practice to teach our dog to use it, but then was smooth sailing. We attached it to the door with zip ties and it stayed in place during travel. Not dishwasher safe.

I bought this so my two small dogs would have a source of water while in their kennel when I'm at work. This has been great and my older dog loves it (the younger one hasn't figured it out yet). Easy to attach to kennel door, but does leak if you don't have it directly vertical (for example, I took the bottle off the kennel to bring in the car with us on a road trip, and it leaked all over the inside of a bag).
