I'm going to keep this short. I happened to be in the right room at the right time to smell what was akin to rubber burning or the start of an electrical fire. It wasn't strong yet, so I was sniffing around and as it turned out, the fridge I thought was so awesome was burning at the switching knob in the back. It was hot to the touch and I burned myself as I picked it up to remove it from my office. The backside was the color fire makes when it is slowly burning behind the panel in the back. The mini fridge is just what my daughter wanted however, it arrived damaged. Every corner was damaged with cracks or scratches. The front Sprite label was scratched down the middle, missing part of the top, and feels sticky. It’s really unfortunate because although it is functioning at the moment, it looks terrible. It’s hard to know what caused the damage and if in the process of getting here the motor may be damaged as well. ... show more
