This camera is a replacement of a old camera of a different brand. I really like that you can see the symbols on the screen to let you know what the buttons are for. It's easy to set up with your phone and you can change the settings on the camera or on your phone. Both came with a adhesive stick on mount which I don't know how long that would last. I used the stick on mount for the rear camera and I bought a mount for my rear view mirror that can swivel. My old camera had a suction mount that would fall off about every month and the camera thought it was in a crash and stop recording. This camera has a separate file for events like this. I also like that you can remove the camera easily because of the magnetic connection for the mount. My wife hit it with her hand the other day reaching for something on the dash and it did not fall, all I had to do was readjust the camera mount that is on a swivel mount. I have not used the talk to camera option yet, but I don't use that option on my phone either. The camera quality is great and it has a little weight to it. The night vision is very good even on the rear camera and I have a tinted rear window. The picture quality is also great. I liked this camera enough that I bought one for my truck. I downloaded the IRadar app that works with the camera but I found out that it has a subscription that I don't really need. I guess if I traveled alot it may be worth it.

Full disclosure: I am a first-time dash camera owner. That said, I am a tech professional and did a ton of research before deciding that this model was the best value for me. Just got the dash camera delivered this past week, and it did not disappoint. Its got amazing video quality, and I found it very easy to setup. Lots of settings I have not played with yet, but it seemed to work well out of the box. The larger display size is nice - particularly because I have it monitoring my rear camera. A few things to note: I found that the "Quick Start Guide" on Cobra's website has a lot more useful information than the printed version in my box. And the Voice Commands feature is really really cool; worked very well for me - I use "Take photo" and "Lock Video" a lot! Finally, there are two free apps that work with this camera, Cobra iRadar and Drive Smarter. I have been using the second one a lot more - and found it to be nifty. Made it easy to connect my iPhone with the dashcam, and update the camera's firmware. I've been using it to share videos - so convenient to not have to remove the camera from my vehicle or pop out the SD card. All in all - "Two thumbs up" for me!

I bought the cobra sc200 in march 2023 and it stopped recording 6 weeks later. Cobra replaced it with a new one after about 20 phone calls. I set up the new one and it worked fine for about a month before it also stopped recording. They have replaced it a total of 3 times with the last one now being about 6 weeks old. I have talked to cobra two or three times a week starting a week after I got it. All of the cameras worked fine for a week or two. It will appear to be working with the two red recording lights blinking, but when I checked it the next time I found it did not record for the last four days and I had driven just over 400 miles during that time. It has reset all the settings such as screen saver, video clip time, and it turns the microphone off. It disabled the app so it want connect to the camera. I asked for my money back in may and was told they can’t do that after 30 days. Not only that but even if the camera I have now is only 6 weeks old they say my warranty has expired. It’s only good form the day I bought the original. April 30 2024.. It’s now been replaced 5 times and this one has also stopped recording but the record light says it is recording. Again I contacted COBRA And was told there must be something wrong with my pickup and I should put the camera in another vehicle. I was also reminded that my warranty has expired. This showed me I was wasting my time even talking to COBRA. I removed it from my pickup and replaced it with a VIOFO A129 Plus Duo Dual Dash Cam. I’ve now had this one for one month and it has worked PERFECTLY from day one IN MY PICKUP. ALL I CAN SAY IS I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM COBRA AGAIN!!!!!

I have been looking for a dashcam for a few weeks. I wanted something easy to use and set up with just some basic features. This dashcam goes above and beyond. It has front and rear video and both have fantastic picture quality in day or night driving. The front dashcam is a great size, takes up minimal windshield space, and the HD video display covers the entire backside of the unit for maximum screen size with no wasted space. The rear dash cam is the same with a small size dashcam so it's not in the way when I look out my rearview mirror. Rear cam picture is also HD Video and displays on the fronts screen if you want or change the setting for no display. Here is where this dashcam goes above and beyond, it has a built-in Forward Collision warning system and Lane Departure Warning. It's like upgrading my car! This dashcam has alerts for red light cameras and road hazards. I downloaded the app and didn't even need to call customer service to help, simple to set up and understand. Great price and I am thrilled.

I was apprehensive buying this unit due to the negative press it had gotten on signal ambiguity and false alerts. I found that if you set the unit up correctly ( i.e. read the instructions guys) and ensure it has the latest SW update, it performed very well on both radar and laser frequencies. Got the rear-view hard wire mount/wiring kit for a nice clean pro install.
