This is the best e-reader cover/protector I have ever owned. I wish there was one similar for my Kindle too. I love the texture. It's soft. I love that it can double as a stand so you can read handsfree. It's easy to go from opening the cover and creating the stand. I use the stand feature a lot while doing laundry. It's great. It's held up pretty well. I am a klutz and have dropped it. A couple of times. Once on concrete. The magnet held and it stayed closed. You can't tell that it's been dropped. I've had no issues with it. I definitely recommend.

This is actually quite a nice case. The build quality is pretty nice and the origami folding is pretty unique. It feels nice to the touch and it fits the kobo Libra color fantastically. We will have to see after many times of bending this case if it holds up over time. So far though it seems to be made out of really good material so I expected to last as long as my device will. The only possible point of contention will be this yellow color. I’m glad they offered it because it’s quite unique from normal offerings but it’s hard to get a sense of the true color from any pictures or videos online. You really have to see this in person. Some will like it, some will find it horrific. Luckily, I ended up liking it haha. Just one note though, you will NOT be able to store the associated stylus pen inside this case. There are other models of cases available if you need that purpose.

This case for the Kobo Libre Colour is a perfect fit. I expected it to be as it is the official Kobo sleep case. The sleep/wake magnetic function works as it should. The built in origami stand function works but it causes the reader to tilt a little too much for my taste. But that is a personal thing. Seems to be made well and I expect it to last a long time.

Compared to a similar design at cheaper price ($15) I got from Amazon, this case certainly feels a lot more premium. Its magnets are also stronger and help hold the tablet in standing position sturdily. I still think it is overpriced, but it is just of much better quality than the alternatives so I’ll keep it.

It's been almost two years since I started using this case. I'm a heavy user of the device, reading almost every day, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for hours. I don't take this device outside so it usually stays on my desk, sofa or bed. This is how it looks after nearly two year of constant use. Well, in other words, after 1100 hours of reading on it (according to the reading stats). As you can see, it's starting to wear out a bit. The material on the corners is beginning to come off. But, it’s still holding up really well. I'm a loyal fan of origami cases, so I bought this one even though it was expensive. And the official cases rarely go wrong. The case feels very solid and sturdy. The device feels very well protected, and it has done an excellent job despite some careless handling over twenty one months. The cover material feels premium to the touch, although may be slightly more susceptible to smudges than typical PU Leather. You need to be careful when you clean it. Just wipe it with a soft cloth without any cleaning product. My favorite part is its strong magnet. It is very strong and when you fold it, the cover sticks completely to the back and doesn't budge at all, allowing you to hold the device comfortably without fumbling. Despite the strong magnet, opening and closing is very easy and smooth. I use it a lot, propping the device up on the desk, sometimes vertically, sometimes horizontally. Strong magnet and well-structured folding system make the device very stable on the desk, with no weird tilt that cheaper origami cases tend to have, if you know what I mean. My experience with the device is perfect. I have no complaints whatsoever; however, I STILL think it's overpriced. I'd happily pay $30 or slightly more, but $40 is too much. At that price, I expect it to hold the stylus, too. If it were $30, I'd indulge myself by getting another one in a different color, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a replacement if it wears out. And believe it or not, the price hasn't changed over two years. (actually cost a dollar more @Apr. 2026) Overall, I'd definitely recommend it if you don't mind the price, or even if you do, if you prefer functionality and want a well-made case that lasts a long time, go for it. Although this overall solid, premium structure does add to the weight. For me, the additional weight isn't much. But for someone else with different use cases, it could be an issue.

I thought about getting cheaper versions, but there were issues with the fit and I figured the one made by Kobo should not have that problem. I expected a flimsy piece of plastic, but it was packaged well and feels quite sturdy. It fits like a glove and also didn't have the issue that my cheap kindle plastic case did where it looked like chunks of it were taken off. So for me it was worth it.

Good cover but does not fit kobo libra 2. The are the same size and kobo doesn't produce covor for 2 anymore so I thought they might be the same but they are not. The colour is thinner, so this case doesn't work for kobo libra 2

Full disclaimer: I don’t usually cases with my e-readers, but I was VERY bummed when my Kobo Libra Colour got chipped after an 18” drop. That’s the only reason I bought this case. Build quality of the Kobo aside, the case has been worth every penny! I chose this specific case because, 1) I prefer the slimmest case possible, and don’t like the designs with bumped-out corners; and 2) I was hoping the name brand clear case would get yellow more slowly than an off-brand. Not only has it helped my peace of mind, but somehow this material has hardly yellowed AT ALL? TPU yellows due to UV rays, and I’ve used this case outside, while traveling, by pools, on boats, for an entire summer, and after almost a year it still looks great. Without a side-by-side comparison you would think it’s brand new. In my experience this is unheard of for a clear case. Highly recommend!!!
