I was cautious to buy a key fob online. I did some online research, called my local locksmith for additional information. I got the key fobs and my local locksmith keyed them to work wonderfully with my car! Happy girl!!!

    • Move mother board over
My key has broken apart, by that I mean the plastic part that's holdingt he whole key in one piece broked. So I just moved the mother board from the old one to this new one using it as a shell and it worked.

It was purchased for the shell because the key ring at the bottom of the original was broken. So it replaced that. Would like to see instructions or a link to instructions come with it to program my car. Also didn't like loosing the Ford logo from the back of the FOB. I ended up using the computer chip from the old FOB and putting it in the shell of the new FOB to make it work. ... show more

Came used with dead batteries. Replaced the batteries and still not able to program. Don't waste your time and money. Call a reputable local locksmith.
