I really love this door! I have used 3 other types/brands of automatic chicken coop doors over the years and this is the best one for the price. An automatic door is absolutely necessary to protect your chickens. - It was super easy to set up. -I tried to open the door by prying it open like a predator would and it is predator proof! Even for tricky opossums and raccoons. It reassures me that my chickens are safe every night. -The safety sensors are a wonderful feature. They prevent the door from closing on the chickens that happen to roost in the doorway, giving me peace of mind that no chickens will be harmed. I even put my hand in the doorway and closed the door and it didn’t even pinch. -It is simple and dependable. -I don’t have to worry about being home on time to close the coop. -The materials seem to be high-quality. -The manual override is a great feature. On occasions when I need to adjust the opening or closing times, I can do so effortlessly by just the push of a button on the door or the remote. Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. The automated chicken coop door has exceeded my expectations. The media could not be loaded. From the moment you open the box, everything is very well-packaged and labeled. They even provide a cutout with the measurements of the coop door to make installation easy! The set-up instructions are easy to follow. Getting the coop door installed was quick. Using the screws provided, I only needed a drill to secure the door to the coop’s frame. Here’s what I love most about Cluckhub’s automatic coop door: 1. Ease of installation. The pre-measured cutout was a bonus that I was not expecting. This meant no measuring or guesswork. 2. Settings. I love how many different options there are. If you don’t want to use the settings, it also comes with a remote that you can use to manually open and close the door. 3. Solar Power Panel. If the power goes out, I don’t have to worry about my door getting stalled or not working. If you don’t have electric in your coop, you don’t have to run wires either. 4. Safety feature. This was one of the most impressive things for me. If the door is closing and a chicken is still trying to get through, it will not close on the chicken. It stops briefly, then continues to close as long as the opening is cleared. 5. Waterproof. Rain won’t stop this door from working. It opens and closes just fine after being rained on. 6. Durability. The door itself is stable and does not give. So far, I’ve not had any predators get inside. 7. Convenience. I like that I can adjust the settings so that the door will close at dusk and open at dawn. This means if I’m out with my family, I don’t have to rush home to close the coop door. Big plus for us! 8. Noise. I was worried that my chickens might be scared of the automatic door opening and closing, but this door is very quiet. You can adjust the speed at which the door opens and closes too. My chickens had no issues going through this door. Overall, I give it 5 stars. It has made things much easier for our busy family! I highly recommend this coop door!

My favorite part of the door is the digital screen. Because of that I’m able to set the time and then set an open and close time. It also has a great safety feature that closes slowly to ensure it does not close on one of my hens. It was super easy to install and my girls were able to adjust to it quickly!

BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this CluckHub automatic chicken coop door. 2. The current price of ~$130 is a bit high. LIKES: - Rolling door works quite nicely. - Metal construction. - Well made. Red color is awesome. - Larger separate solar panel speeds up charging. - Remote control is a nice alternative to going inside. DISLIKES: - Cutting the opening for installation is a fair amount of work.

SUPER CONVENIENT & RELIABLE - Automatic Chicken Coop Door Opener. Talk about making the ENTIRE FLOCK easy to take care of on the Daily. Then being that its operating off of Solar Power... you can forget about running power to the unit or having to change batteries every so often. Instead you simply install the unit in your Chicken coop, set up your solar panel so that its reaching optimal sunlight. You then set up your hours for when you want it to open & then when you want it to close. Which I might add that this system is very easy to set up, it's very very simple. I would HIGHLY recommend this for anyone that doesnt seem to have enough hours in the day to do it all! This product makes easy work of opening & closing up the chickens EVERY SINGLE DAY!

The chickens will actually learn and adjust to the time you set for the door. They will be inside the coop before it closes. In my enclosure I have a chicken run that butts up to the coop so if they don't get in the coop they are still enclosed and safe from predators but they won't like it. One night left in the run and the chicken will be in the coop before dusk thereafter! The anti-trap feature is important. I have a buddy who lost a chicken to an automatic door without the anti trap feature. This is a nice touch. Installation really was as easy as cut out the hole, stuff in the door and run the wire for the solar panel. If you built your own coop then this is a piece of cake. I don't really use the remote but it is a nice feature to have. Absolutely recommended for the urban chicken farmer! I have 5 chickens in an urban setting with a 50 sq foot run attached to a 16 sq foot coop. 5 stars.

we already have a couple of the top brand coop doors, and i must say, so far this door is equal value at a cheaper price. the door has functioned as designed for several weeks now without issue. the door itself appears sturdy enough to keep out the smaller predators that would actually fit through coop opening if it were to fail (the bears are still tarring up doors, but cant get in if they do). so far we are very happy with this item
