Was on the skeptical side when I purchased this light. I need something that offered motion detection and was flush mount. Installation was easy enough, you are able to choose the brightness level of the light which is great! My only gripe, is that if you decide you want to change the brightness, you would have to remove the face plate to access the switch. If the light is mounted low probably not an issue, however for me my light is mounted on my porch at 12ft. Also, if you follow the directions it says to caulk if using light outdoors which would mean if you wanted to change the brightness at any point you would have to scrape away the caulk. Not very well thought out feature. Another light I purchased from them has the same feature however with a much more accessible option to change the brightness . Otherwise, it serves its purpose it turns on when motion is detected within its field of view. ... show more

This light is almost perfect. I say "almost" because if I could change one thing I would like for it not stay on as long as it does. Forty-five seconds may not seem like a long time but if I could adjust it I would shorten that down to about 15 seconds. Just my personal preference, not a bad thing as far as the light is concerned. The installation was quick and easy, all the hardware was included and the instructions were clear. I like that you can rotate the light to adjust where the sensor is pointed. Since this light is in a utility room I wanted the sensor facing the main traffic area. The sensor is nice and sensitive too. The light comes on immediately when I enter the room and not like 2 seconds later. The brightness is perfect for this room too and being able to adjust that is nice. I tested it by walking in and out of the room every 15-35 seconds and the light did not go off. I also stayed in front of the light like I was loading/unloading the washer and dryer and it never went off during that 10 minutes or so. Great product, great value. ... show more

This is exactly as advertised. It's perfect for our small outside entrance by the front door. It's very bright and the solar motion detector works perfectly so far. The only problem was that it took a while to install it as we are not electricians. It took about 45 minutes to get it up and figure out exactly how it worked. I use this in a utility room. So far the motion detection has worked well. I also like the adjustable light settings. The only time motion detection hasn't worked is mid mowing on a very sunny day. It's still dark enough in the room for light but not dark enough for the motion detector. If I stand in from of the window the light will come on. That's not a big deal though. The build quality is average. It's definitely not a high end light fixture but for the purpose I'm using it it works fine. ... show more
