I have tried many red dots; trijicon, c-more, holosun, burris, and the likes, and this melprolight red dot is right up there with the best of them. I put this on my AP5 and now I am thinking of replacing the MRO I have on my AR with one. 400 rounds down range and it is holding zero.

Good… And not so much. Like the other reviews, I have optics from virtually everyone … Holosun, Aimpoint, Sig, Ect. This is a well constructed optic. The light sensor is amazing. The field of view is great. But… For whatever reason in certain lighting conditions, the reticle can become not only obscured, but completely washed out. Overhead lighting. Or some glare can momentarily render the optic useless. The reticle will become confused with glare and reflection. And a red dot, where the dot is not usable… Isn’t much good for anything. ... show more

Very poor quality optic with significant glare obstructing the reticle. I have sights from most of the major makers and never had anything g this nad
