It’s a lot of steps to go through, but it’s worth it

I make and sell a high end product for the motion picture industry and until today I've been having to place stickers on the product. Thankfully, I can now throw all the stickers in the trash and my product looks like I've always wanted it to. The machine showed up in a heavy wooden crate and within two hours I had it assembled and engraving metal parts. No adjustments were needed in the software or with the laser. It seems this thing was already setup ahead of time and just needed basis assembly. This 30w laser is lightning fast and burns bright marks on anodized aluminum almost instantaneously. I even burned my logo into my shipping boxes and they look great. I hope I can get several good years of service out of this product.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this product as Cloudray is the leading laser component manufacturer in the world. The idea of having a Cloudray branded machine was appealing to me as I knew the quality of their other laser components, owning CO2 lasers. The product arrived quickly and setup was easy. We did run into a small snag (not Cloudray Inc. fault) but Cloudray owned it and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. I have been so impressed that I have already purchased a different size Cloudray lens, and I am looking forward to purchasing more upgrades from Cloudray in the future. Had my doubts. First laser machine. Came packed in a nice wood crate, well padded inside. 122 lb crate, be ready. Simple assembly. Plugged it in and installed driver on my laptop. Worked first try. No hassles. Get Lightburn with the galvo head support. It works perfectly with this unit including the rotary. Much better and feature rich compared to the ezcad2 that comes with it. Very happy.

The laser does engrave, but when you turn it off, it shoots a line across the finished product and ruins the work that has been done

When I received the item, there was a part rattling around in the machine. I could not get the software to work with it. I searched and searched for a contact number to get assistance only to find that if you did not buy the item directly form them they would not give you any technical assistance. Did not work as promised and they will provide no help.

First - this laser is replacing a competitor's unit that was crap and was returned. After I purchased this, the seller was in communication right away, with helpful information. When asked a few questions about the shipping, and a discount that I saw online but did not get - the seller was quick to get back and answer all my questions - and, AND - even give me a refund equal to the new discount I saw. The unit was shipped UPS EXPRESS P1 from China to Texas. It came in their famous wood crate - and was on a plane and made it FROM CHINA TO TEXAS - <OVERNIGHT>!!! Nobody else does that! These guys are excellent! So far - the laser is great. It's outperforming the previous unit and has the detailed settings that match up and make it possible to mark things that I could not do with my previous unit or with my CO2 laser. If you're doing comparison shopping - don't waste any more time. Go with Cloudray and leave the rest behind. You will not be disappointed!!!
