I like the light and strap bundle. The light does last quite a while when paired with Rechargeable Lithium batteries. It takes 3 AAA ones and can last for more than a week of heavy on and off use. I do a lot of reading so maybe the life span of the batteries might be a bit shorter than some who don't read as much but it still lasts quite a while. The lamp is bright on its second setting and at night with all the lights off i turn it on low and can still see well. i use an older Kindle reader, which does not have a back-light on it, to be able to see the screen and it works well for this. The clip is just narrow enough to hold onto my Kindle without adding any extra padding and it opens wide enough to attach to the strap clip when on the Kindle too. However when i have it attached there, it doesn't sit flat but that is to be expected since the clip is slightly rounded. The neck on the light stalk is metal so i would assume will last a lot longer than would a plastic one. The light also stays bright till the batteries wear out and once replaced with a fresh set comes back to full brightness. The strap is a little hard to use for my big fingers but i am able to make it work when holding the Kindle one handed. It does fit the Kindle just fine and stretches if needed to fit an even bigger one should it be needed. Over all i would recommend this to anyone who wants a cheap but good light to read by. ... show more

I love this little reading light. The light is bright, it has 2 brightness settings and I only use the first one as it is bright enough for me to read on my Kindle. I didn't rate the battery power because I've only had it less than a week and the batteries are still working fine. I read from the Kindle at bedtime so they should last for a while. The clamp is a little loose for my older Kindle but I just hook it behind the hand strap and it works fine. I really like the hand strap, as I tend to accidentally push the page buttons when holding the device by the edges.

I am so glad I found this item for my Kindle! The light has low and high settings, and is just the right size. It also has grippers to keep it in place without damaging the device. The hand strap is perfect for use at the gym if the equipment doesn’t have a ledge to hold the Kindle.
