There is not a better pool shock on the Market! I'm not a chemist, so I can't go into detail on why this shock works so well. But I can tell you from my experience with 33 years of owning a pool. I have not found anything that works as good as this Clorox extra blue pool shock does. 1 packet a week in my 16000 gallon pool and my water is crystal clear! No algae problems at all!
