I trust the Clorox name and have been using the shock treatment for years. Very effective for clearing up cloudy water, bringing up the chlorine level for maintenance. Great product! Great brand!

Easy to use
Size: 6 Pack

I got this product from my daughter's small pool for the summer so although I have to kind of measure out exactly how much I need since it's not a big pool it wasn't too expensive and it's enough for the summer for just a temporary pool

PAY A FEW DOLLARS MORE AND GET THE GOOD STUFF, CLOROX!
Size: 6 Pack

As always, a trusted product! I dissolve in water first for my Intex Easy Set pool I bought on Amazon. If you just dump it in to one of the pools (the time with the blowup ring at the top), it can settle and bleach the color out, but that’s with any shock. This is why I mix mine and liquid first to easily dissolve, which only takes a minute or two.The individual bags are very durable so you don’t have to worry about a child opening one or a hole in a bag. In fact, I always have to use scissors to open a bag. Some cheaper brands are apparently not as concentrated as the Clorox brand. So it’s worth the extra money. You can smell the chlorine content. If memory serves correctly, I believe you can swim fairly soon after treating with this shock, as opposed to having to wait overnight. Very effective for treating weekly or solving an algae problem. You can double the amount for more serious algae conditions.
