Nothing but praise for this Water Clarifier by Clorox. This “crazy clarifier” came in a 128 fl oz value size jug with a security push and twist cap. After our pool’s pump failed and going through several days of extremely warm weather, algae bloom was at an all time high. A chlorine shock did some good work but this helped complete the process. It’s effective when dosage guide is followed. The large quantity offsets cost and makes it reasonably priced. Water is clear… so clear you can see where additional scrubbing is required on pool floor that’s six feet deep.

Once a week keeps my 28K gal sand-filter pool clear as glass
If you are one of those pool owners that attends to your pool on a daily basis, good for you. I am not. I have a WaterGuru, which works when it feels like it (waste of money), so I am manually testing and treating twice a week. I have the largest Jandy sand filter made, and adding DE to the sand never worked for me. This does. I run my Maytronics Explorer E70 robot on Friday night, and add this before the pump starts on Saturday night. As long as the chlorine isn't at zero, at all seems to work together to keep the pool sparkly clean. It is blue in the bottle but turns a milky-white when it hits the water, dissolving quickly. Instructions say to run pump for a minimum of 12 hours after adding, so I make sure to do that. Works great!

Will buy again
This was the first time I’ve tried it. I went away for a week n didn’t have anyone to care for the pool when I got home it was a pond/swamp frog eggs, grass, leaves and a crap ton of algae and couldn’t see through the water at all but poured this into a 4oz bottle so I could throw it through out the pool within a few hours with pump running the water was clear n with the shock killed everything knocked the algae to the bottom I can see all the algae on the bottom so now I can vacuum it out it’s super easy to use didn’t foam looks great now

A little goes a long way. Effective.
I love this. A little goes a long way. Approximately 24 hours for a super cloudy pool to clear up suspended particulates. Realize if you have a lot of dust storms, this will make that dust in the water clump up so you will need to backwash or clean your filters a little more often. However, the fact that it does make it all fall to the bottom so that it can be vacuumed up. You have to kind of expect that you’re gonna clean your filter more often. As a bonus if you double your dose, it reduces the surface tension of the water, making it difficult for many insects, including wasps, Yellowjackets bees, etc., from being able to land on the water.

Works ok but treat less gallons!
Works fine but the concentration is lower than all other competing liquid stabilizers. One gallon treats about 8,000 gallons, while many other brands treat 10,000 gallons. As a result, you’ll need roughly 25% more product to get the same stabilizer increase. Be sure to compare treatment capacity before buying. The bottle price may look attractive, but you get what you pay for.

Useful Pool Chemical
For almost two years of owning this home my pool water has always looked great. Nice and clean and clear. Then one day the water changed to the appearance of skim milk. It was probably my fault by not waiting the prescribed interval between adding the treatment chemicals. LOTS of effort was expended to restoring the water clarity. The pump has been run 24/7 for almost two weeks. A new OEM Hayward filter was installed. The filter was cleaned twice per day. AND this Clorox Crazy Clarifier was used. Being an American, of course my thought was if a little is good, then a lot is better AND I wanted the water clean NOW, so I initially used lots of this chemical. After this method didn't work for days I called the manufacturer. I was informed lots is not better. The chemical method I switched to then had great and "rapid" results. The pump remained running 24/7 w/ the filter being cleaned twice per day. BUT now, after each cleaning of the filter, I added the small amount of chemical listed on the product label. The water is almost back to normal clarity and is expected to be fully restored shortly. This chemical is recommended.

Sparkling Clean
This product really keeps the pool clean. No algae and really sparkling clean. Put in weekly to keep pool sparkling clean. It is used in an above ground pool.
