Description

Multiprocess capabilities in a lightweight, versatile machine. Delivering 200 amps of output, the Multi-Handler 200 is capable of MIG, DC TIG and stick welding, giving you the flexibility to tackle many projects. It can MIG and stick weld up to 3/8-inch material and TIG weld up to 3/16 inch. The color LCD makes setup and changeover easy. Connect the appropriate accessory for the process, change polarity if needed, select the process and dial in your parameters. The parameter chart inside the door provides starting parameters for you to use. The Multi-Handler 200 has multi-voltage plug (MVP) technology so it can be used on either 120- or 240-volt input power.

    • So far FANTASTIC.
Everyone that welds kind of finds a particular brand that works with their style and for forty plus years I have run mainly the red brand however after mine gave up the ghost and I got to looking around I decided to give Hobart a shot at it this time. I have only ran this welder on 220 volts and with stick, first day trying it out. I haven't done serious stick welding for the last twenty years, only the occasional job and my skills are lacking, I'm not sure if its the new technology these welder have compared to the older designs but when I set this welder up in 220 with some 6011 and 7018 it was flowing like the good old days in no time even with me being rusty, very smooth welds. One thing I noticed right off the bat is this thing runs hot, I found I was dropping about 10 amps lower than what I would usually run 1/8" rod on my old machine on 1/4" and 3/8" plate. So far so good and I hope it only gets better when I get a chance to run it in mig and tig. ... show more

This is my first welder. I was saving money for something decent for a long time. I tried to start with Lincoln Electric 211i. First order didn't come on time so I canceled it. Second unit came in a horrible shape(see my review) so i returned it and man I glad I did. This welded is much much better value for money. Not only you get Mig, stick, tig for 30ish dollars more plus this unit comes with fan-on-demand option. It is so pleasant to work and study with this welder. When you are preparing your part for welding it is dead silent. I mean, if you work in the shop and your coworkers drop steel all day long it doesn't matter but for me in my personal shop it does matter. Plus this guy is a beast so much power! Built quality is also great. Don't be upset with the fact that it is made in China. It doesn't matter anymore. Don't forget that Hobart is a little brother of Miller. Tech support, warranty, parts, service distribution is great as well. ... show more

I love this machine . This is a lot of value for the money. So far I have only used the mig and the Flux core . But I have done some incredible welds with this little box and so far only on 120volts . I'm not sure I would even need to hook this to 220. It welds amazing on 120v. Hobart is a strong reputable product and this multihandler did not disapoint ... show more

    • Great unit
I absolutely love this welder. Had a Handler 190 and an Ironman 230 and both were great. Sold them and bought this one. Its about half the weight of my 190 and is much easier to load in my truck and go to a job. Welds great on steel and the aluminum spool gun. You won't go wrong with this one.
